Two visits, slightly different experiences. So we were excited to go back here after not being in Orlando for a few years. It was New Year’s Eve and we decided to eat here before heading to Universal Studios. No wait! Wasn’t sure if that was a bad sign or we were just lucky timing. Anyway we were quickly seated and the server introduced herself, bubbly and explained the drinks. First look at the menu and my wife was a bit disappointed as “boat trash” was no longer served. This was a pan full of sea food, a bit messy but she loved it. I went for the mahi mahi, a particular favourite of mine and it didn’t disappoint. I’ve got to say that the portions seem to be smaller. We actually had a desert after the main course, pretty much a first. First visit was very good though. 2nd visit I had the fish and chips. Smallish strips of fish fried. A bit battered to death to be honest, tasty but over fried in my opinion. My wife had the shrimp selection and she liked it, death by frying again though. So what didn’t I like? I’ve seen this tactic used in theme restaurants before... you order a drink and it comes in a souvenir glass. On the first visit I was asked if I wanted a large beer and I said yes but didn’t want a souvenir glass. The server adjusted the cost accordingly. The 2nd visit I wasn’t asked if I wanted a large or small glass nor that there is a cost associated with getting a large beer and a souvenir glass. It just arrived in the larger glass. No mention of price or options on the menu as well. To me this is an underhand move and completely detracts from what I think is a great restaurant. So my advice is ask for clarity on the drinks prices and whether you have to have the souvenir glass or you get a cheaper drink.

We had a gift card so decided to stop while traveling through. Just be aware the restaurant is almost inside Hollywood Studios. It took us a bit to figure out how to get inside. Wait was about 45 minutes at 7:00 on a Saturday night. Service was quick and efficent. We had Shrimper’s Heaven, Jambalaya Pasta, and the Shrimp Shack Mac and Cheese. It was all good! Dinner for 4 with Mozzarella Sticks as an appetizer and one alcoholic beverage was $95. Was a fun night out!

The wife and I make it a point to hunt down the nearest Bubba Gump when we travel. We love the food, atmosphere and how they make something that is entirely cheesy feel not so cheesy. At our recent visit in Orlando we had a minor issue with our orders that was taken care of right away and they insisted on comping the food which was unnecessary but appreciated. Everyone was wearing masks and there was visible cleaning beyond the norm which was great to see. We will be back for sure.

There are many places to eat at Universal's Park. Some are expensive and others are very expensive. Bubba Gump's is a good choice in-between. Its not too expensive and the food is acceptable. I had their 3 shrimp basket with fries - we also got cole slaw, but it was delivered after we had eaten the shrimp so I consider it a no-show. The place is friendly, and I have no complaints about the shrimp or fries. The servers did their level best, and when you are in a park with tens of thousands of other people, any semblence of decent service is remarkable. I reccomend Bubba's as one of the better options here.

You can't pre-book a table here, but we only waited around 30 mins for a table. I'd always wanted to eat here and we weren't disappointed. The service was great, the food was really really good. Definitely worth a visit. The memorabilia from Forrest Gump was on display and the merch shop attached was reasonably priced. The food and the drinks were all great - would definitely recommend

This is a casual, fun themed seafood restaurant located right as you enter Universal's Citywalk! We really enjoyed our meal here! It was basic fried seafood fare but it was very good. Our servers made the experience fun and the food came out quickly. Prices were quite reasonable for a theme park restaurant. I highly recommend purchasing the Landry's Select membership for $ 25. We received $ 30 in instant credits and priority seating so it paid for itself and then some.

After spending several hot hours within the Universal Resort Park, we decided to eat supper at Bubba Gumps. We were met by a friendly outside Host who directed us into the restaurant. Inside, a Hostess walked us to the table and our waiter Jeff was at our table with silverware and menus. With the COVID-19 pandemic, the menu has been modified, but still offers a wide selection of great food items. I ordered the Calamari and my husband ordered the Shrimp's Heaven. Our cool, refreshing drinks arrived quickly and our delicious meals arrived steeping hot! Jeff checked on us to ensure we were happy with drinks and food. The manager even came by the table to make sure we were having a good meal. What a great place to unwind after visiting the Universal Resort

Went here with family (I wouldn't have chosen the place) and was disappointed yet again. The portion sizes are very small and the prices are 25% too high. Service and environment are fun and good but the food quality and prices just kill me. All it is is a novelty restaurant. Oh also, the ribeye I had was a poor steak. They don't source very well.

At here before a evening at Universal. Our server started out fun and attentive but after we received our appetizers. He went MIA and so did the rest of our food. It took forever. When we did receive our food my food was cold. We asked for our ticket and when we paid we had a gift card to pay for some of it. Let’s say the check was $84 and the gift card was $50. Our credit card was charged more than $34.

We have eaten at Bubba humps before here five years ago and came back as we know the food and service is damn good here! After a long knackering day in the theme parks this was well deserved. The Mac and cheese they serve for starters is so good I could of had this as a main. We had fish and fries and my wife had Mahi Mahi good tasting fish. The staff are friendly and always helpful if there is a problem. They have signs here on your table saying “run forest run” which means no problem waiters and waitresses won’t stop. The other saying “stop forest stop” means you need the attention of someone if you need extra sauces etc. Worth a visit when coming to Orlando. Never been disappointed coming here.

Arriving in Orlando during a cold snap, we decided to have dinner at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Our hostess met us at the outside desk and directed us to the front door and as we entered the hostess desk. Tables placement were "socially distanced" and hand sanitizer was at the front door Our server, Bethany walked us to our table and took our drink orders. When she returned to take our food order, she warned us that there may be a delay in our food because the computers were "down" but should be us in a few minutes. She took our food orders and we prepared to wait. Within no time, she returned with my husband's Seafood Trio and my Strawberry Apple salad. Everything looked good and my husband's food was hot and he said very tasty! My salad was cold and crispy! Thanks Bethany! We enjoyed our meal and Bethany checked on us frequently to make sure we were happy with our food and out drinks were filled. A nice way to begin our vacation!

We had an hour and a half wait because we had a party of nine. We waited so long two of our party left and went back to the hotel. When we finally got seated it was only us and another very large group that they put in the big room in the restaurant. The service was very slow this time and it took a long time to get our food. My son in law couldn't even eat his meal. All of my meal was cold except the little thin filet of fish that came with my meal. We have eaten here many times before and this time was the worse dinner we have had.

We visited here following a day at the park. Used our Landry card and was seated immediately. One portion of ribs and shrimp and one order of chicken breast with mash and corn. Everything was absolutely delicious and so tasty. The prawns are still the best we had in Florida our whole stay. Next time I will probably order a massive bowl of these as they were brilliant. Husbands chicken, mash and sweetcorn was also delicious and such a huge portion! Kids also enjoyed their meals of Mac n cheese and chicken tenders. Also the little boats and colouring sheets were a great hit. The only downside was the service to be honest. We waited a bit to have order taken. Then waitress kind of disappeared, think she was serving too many tables. Once our dinner had arrived after waiting a bit we were asked if we wanted to take part in a trivia quiz which seemed a bit inappropriate timing wise. Also we then ordered two kids ice cream sundaes with chocolate sauce. Only one arrived and no sauce - again no waitress around to discuss. Eventually after 10 mins caught someone’s attention and asked for the other sundae and also for the choc sauce. However we then waited another 20 mins kiddo refused to eat her ice cream without the sauce, other kid having a meltdown as he didn’t have his. Eventually we gave up and asked for bill, by this time girls ice cream melted all over bowl and table. When bill arrived the 2 ice creams were on there. I asked for them to be removed as didn’t receive them and also the one that did arrive wasn’t eaten and had completely melted trying to get attention. They did remove these. This was the only part of the service that let us down. However the food was good so we will visit again in future.

Food was good, service fast and was right at Universal Orlando. Parking is free after 6pm so cars were lined up outside the park with flashers on waiting for the countdown. I didn't care for the Seafood Hush Pups. I prefer traditional ones. Dumb Luck Coconut shrimp and MaMa Blues Southern Charm Fried Shrimp were both very good choices.

Every staff member we interacted with during our whole night was so pleasant! I think the service is really the standout at this place. We enjoyed the Forrest Gump trivia too! The mains that we ordered were pretty good. I got the Accidental Fish and Shrimp. I would've preferred a different fish to flounder, and the sauce was quite rich, but I still enjoyed it, and my partner enjoyed his bourbon sauce mahi mahi. Overall, an enjoyable experience and a great place to go if you like seafood and a bit of kitsch.
