We have been coming to Border Grill for over 10 years! It has never failed us for service or quality! It is the smallest little hidden gem located in a strip mall on Vineland. If you aren't really looking for it, you will miss it! It is always fairly busy for such a small restaurant. The service is always friendly and welcoming. The food is fresh and delicious! This trip we ordered tacos, chimichanga, flautas, queso, guacamole , and chips. There was absolutely nothing not great about the food we ordered. Everything was so flavorful and well seasoned. If you haven't googled this place....do yourself a favor and look it up and plan a lunch stop!

My wife and I decided to give this cheap and cheerful Mexican place a try during our vacation in Orlando. We were glad we did because the food was delicious.
We started with tortilla chips with guacamole and salsa. The chips were fresh and arrived warm. The guacamole was about as good as we've ever had. We then shared an order of street tacos, with rice and refried beans, and the California burrito. The burrito was definitely the star of the show but the taco was really good too.
We would return to eat here in a heartbeat. If you enjoy authentic Mexican food then do your taste buds a favor and head to this restaurant

We had a hard time finding this place, but the reviews seemed good. We finally made it and the parking lot was crowded. You place your order at the counter, then they bring the food to you. The grill is visible, so you can see the food being made. The ingredients tasted fresh, the portions were big and the service was excellent. Even though you order at the counter, they still come around and refill chips and drinks. The food came hot and just tasted great. It is not a five star restaurant and the interior could use some updating, but if you want a great meal with friendly service, this is your place!

Your taste buds will appreciate the food. It was busy even later in the evening. This is a bit of a hole in the wall, but the food is good and plenty. Quite authentic and almost everyone there (customers and the restaurant team) exclusively spoke Spanish. Their steak burritos are real steak meat with almost no filler with the meat. Check this place out!

We were a little worried about it once pulling into the rundown strip mall, but decided to give it a chance anyway. It was delicious!! The inside is small with only 6-8 tables but it seemed clean. The food came out quickly. We tried the chips and salsa (yum!), the chimichanga with pastor (the lady at the counter recommended it), the nachos with shredded chicken, and the kiddos got a cheese quesadilla. Definitely give it a chance and don’t be scared away by the exterior.

The food was really good. The service was excellent. I’m traveling with two colleagues and one was probably a little hesitant because it’s not a fine dining establishment. Lets just say the waiter was great, the food arrived hot, fresh and fast. In fact, faster than any fine dining Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to. The place is small and the customers are non stop for dine in or take out. It’s authentic Mexican NOT Tex Mex. I grew up in TX and eat Tex Mex frequently and love it, but there is a difference. If you’re staying at the Doubletree hotel and want a good hot meal close by... give them a try!

Love, love, love this restaurant. Amazing fajitas and the salsa is the best. We going here at least once every 2 weeks. Have tried many other Mexican restaurants in Orlando but they just can't compete with Border Grill. Now we only go to Border grill, and once you taste their amazing food you won't want to go to any other Mexican in Orlando either.

When we are on vacation we do not like to eat at chain restaurants we look for local, and this was one of the highest rated restaurants on TA. We were not sure when we drove up to it but we decided to give it a try and we were so glad we did. My husband got the nachos and I had the fish tacos. They were both very good and we were stuffed. The staff was very nice and the food came out very quickly. Sorry there is no photo but when it came we dove right in and forgot to take one.

Great location off the landing to Pictured Rocks, a busy stretch with bars and restaurants. we came in quite late and they let us squeeze in. It is like a McD's where you order the food in the front and pick up to your table. Maybe at other times they deliver to table, but as I said they were already about to close. The food was fresh and good, and the location was great.

The wait staff was very prompt to check on us and take the drink orders. They were very helpful with the menu selection.
My granddaughter picked an item off of the menu that she had no idea what it was, but she was convinced she knew. The server picked up on it right away and explained it to her, while suggesting a different plate that she ordered instead and she thoroughly enjoyed it.
Everyone enjoyed their food. It was excellent!

I visited here as I wanted to try something different and looked to trip adviser. It all looked amazing and it does come out how the pictures show you! So that is all factual.
Food was OK. However this is a tiny restaurant and we were crammed onto a very small table.
The menu’s were dirty and really needed replacing.
You can tell that people like this place as lots of locals visit and it was busy.
For me it was nice, slightly expensive for what is was and I wouldn’t go back. But that doesn’t mean it is bad just not amazing as I read.

This restaurant is one of those wonderful hole in the wall places that is fun to discover! The food was delicious the service was great and friendly and I will definitely come by before leaving town. We took a break from the parks to eat before switching to another park and I’m so glad we made the 20 minute drive to eat here. The owner was here and they are doing a great job super clean not fancy but way fresh delicious food!

Supreme tacos ordered: steak and pulled chicken. Also got the chips and salsa. So… whilst we all liked the flavours I’ve got my issues this being near the top in Orlando.
1: I’d you order 3 tacos you can’t say which meat you want in each when selecting 2 meats. I hoped for 2 steak 1 chicken but got 2 chicken as expected being cheaper.
2: this is small… I’m English and have a US portion fear typically but this was dainty by any standards . Sharing tacos is largely pointless.
Not attributed to the venue specifically but my order was almost 60% more with charges, delivery, tips. Delivery driver appeared to struggle to find the place and didn’t pick up the phone. DoorDash… beware.
I suspect this place works better when ordering in larger volumes or eating in-house (assuming they have in-house). Not worth it for a relatively small delivery in my opinion.

This restaurant is genuinely the best experience I have had eating out and eating at all in years. The service was absolutely incredible-our servers were incredibly kind and accommodating. The food was more than impressive, it was DIVINE. The rice and base parts of each dish (tortillas, beans, sauce and salsa) were each phenomenal and made only better by the rest of flavors incorporated into their dishes. Their drinks were exactly as described and incredible refreshing. Not only that, this is a small and local business- with a family environment to match. My family and I had a truly incredible experience ♥️

This tiny little family run cantina is in a small car park. Difficult to find, but oh my, is it worth it!!! We asked the waitress for recommendations and my husband had the bistek and I had the shrimp. We asked for spicy and they delivered. Please try their guacamole, it is so smooth and one of the best I’ve tasted. Very reasonable prices. Well worth a visit.
