We made a reservation at this place because, based on the pictures on the web site and social media sites, this appeared to be a more formal Asian restaurant. We were quite disappointed as we arrived for our daughter’s 22nd birthday. Much to our surprise, the other patrons were dressed in jeans, shirts, and tee shirts. We were ushered to a back dining room that was noticeably warmer. While servers were efficient and attentive, they were not personable. Moreover, we were disappointed by the uncensored music blaring from the speakers… lots of profanity! While the appetizers were delicious, we ordered wonton soup and salt and pepper prawns, the entrees were disappointing. We all agreed they were no better than the entrees one can purchase in a food court at the mall! We were disappointed with our experience, so we won’t return.

So delighted to find authentic Cantonese food in an elegant environment! At first, because the waiters and waitresses were not Chinese, we thought perhaps we had walked into a tourist trap. When the food came out, we were pleasantly surprised! The roast duck looked and tasted better than any that we have in the Chicagoland area. The char siu/BBQ pork was on point. The fried salt and pepper calamari and the Beef Chow Fun noodles were good. The braised tofu was so yummy and to standard! So how come only four stars? The Amazing Fried Rice comes out brown. Although it tasted good, just be aware that this is not authentic. If we are in Orlando again, we would like to try their lobster special because we saw some of those being served and they looked really good!

We have been to YH numerous times, as it never fails us with its flavorful dishes, so well prepared and its exemplary service. Whether you come for the dumplings and siu mai (try the crabmeat and seafood) or the peking duck with bao, the Amazing Fried rice, or the Beef Chow Fun, the Wok-Seal Sea Bass, salt and pepper calamari...ALL dishes are just clos to perfection, served with a friendly and helpful staff. Come alone or with a bvig group. Vivian helped me prepare for a surprise party, from menu to set-up, and she continues to be there for us.

Stay away from this restaurant.
Took my family of 4 adults for New Year lunch. Reservation was for 1:00 PM yet we had to wait in line while guests without a reservation were attended by the hostess. Hostess was very unpleasant.
Finally seated in a booth by server Linda who did not know the a la cart menu. I ordered a salad and Garden shrimp for $37. Linda left to place my order and did not comeback to take our 9 items Dim Sum. We finally waived down the supervisor who got a young male to take our dim sum order 30 minutes later. A food delivery person brought the Garden shrimp which was Luke warm, missing half the stir fry vegetable items. The male server said the kitchen was very busy so we should be happy with whatever comes on our plate, My Order included 8 very over cooked rubbery shrimp. Rather than let it go cold I ate the entree. My salad was finally delivered after 2:00PM and I told the supervisor it was too late as I already ate my main course. She was quite rude and brusque saying the do the best they can but she will take it off our bill. My large 1 Litre pot of green tee tasted like hot water as it only had 2 tea bags so I asked our server for another tea bag. He took the pot away and actually removed 1 tea bag. It tasted worse and had gotten cold. I tried to explain it to Linda but she said thanks for the patience and compliments.
The Dim Sum items were brought to our table 40 minutes after taking our order.
Overall, the worst dining experience anywhere. How did this restaurant get a Michelin Star?
My opinion is stay away from this restaurant unless you like rude staff, very poor service, poorly prepared food and no interest in correcting any problems with your food.

Horrible Customer Service. We've been frequent guests at YH Seafood Clubhouse. We wanted to host 12 out of town guests today at 1:30pm and got a call from Justin who is one of the managers with no authority canceling our reservations at 11:30am. Rather than apologizing for the cancellation, Justin had an attitude and told me they were cancelling all reservations today and it would only be walk-ins. An hour before they sent me a text confirming the reservation. Inspite of us being regular customers going to the restaurant 1-2 times a week since there opening, we will never step foot in that restaurant again. The manager Jimmy doesn't even return phone calls. A place like this doesn't deserve to be in Dr. Phillips and at this rate it will go out of business. They obviously don't have there act together.

Excellent dim sum. Nice selection. Every dish has it’s own flavor. Hot and sour soup was very tasty. We also ordered one main dish and there was so much we shared it. Pineapple bums was a nice end to the meal. Service is top notch.

i love dim sum and this restaurant in THE BEST in orlando . i ve tried 5 different dim sum for lunch and all of them were CRAFT here by hand and not frozen . i d like to come back to try the other dishes on their menu with friends …

omg! so glad I found this place. I was dying for dimsum and came across this near my hotel. everything was delicious!! Lynette, my server did a fantastic job taking care of me. I really appreciated her kind attention. wish I had the room but will have to come back for the peking duck in the future and more dimsum!! delicious!!
