I believe that the first time I went to Mike's was 30 years ago and I do not believe that anything has changed. Decent bar food, large selection of beers, spotty (sometimes surly) service and reasonable prices. It is what it is and I am...grateful that places like this still exist in the shadow of downtown Miami.More

Our waitress was pleasant and efficient. We both had the grilled cheese and tomato sandwich, one with rye and cheddar and the other with wheat and provolone. Both were very tasty and reasonably priced. The potato salad was delicious.

We went here hoping to find an "Irish Pub" as advertised. This is not an Irish Pub, it's just simply a hole in the wall bar with a bunch of local drunks and staff that don't care about customer service. Service was marginal at best,...and the food was typical of any dive bar. Access to the place is poor, with the location hidden on the 9th floor of a condo (or office building) not sure which. Would bother with this place again in this lifetime!!More

Mike's is definitely not an easy place to find....one is defintiely not going to "stumble" across it! Sitting on top of an apartment building, there isn't much signing from the outsdie (a sandwich board pointing to an elevator from the marina side of the building)....Once getting to the top side, there is poolside seating, and a bar inside, which really is set up like a sports bar. No doubt, this place definitely was catering to locals, and I think there weren't many "outside groups" that truly find this place. We sat outside to enjoye the beautiful evening near the pool. The only thing marring the experience was that smoking was permitted on the patio dining area, giving us a constant air of cigarrette smoke. I ended up with a seafood trio boil; I wasn't expecting much due to the sports-bar set up, but I was very pleasantly surprised on the quality and taste of my dish; my colleagues also all enjoyed their meals. Overall, this was a gerat find, and wouldn't hesitate to return.More

We asked the staff at the downtown Hilton where a good place to go would be to get drinks and food. We wanted a hole in the wall. Mike's was located a few blocks from the hotel. We would have never known about this place...if it wasn't from the hotel staff. We were so happy at this place we went 3 nights in a row. ALL the staff was very nice and attentive. The food was great!More

Great nice people 👍. Stopped to find a place we could watch Packers game. They just changed one of their TV's to it.

I've had several lunches at Mike's. All seafood. Always good. Friendly service, very reasonable prices. Kind of a "neighbourhood bar" on the 9th floor. My friend had short ribs. Very tasty. Not fancy, just good.

I live in the building and i've had the displeasure of dealing with the owner's alcoholic daughter one too many times. Sara is known for being rude and unpleasant but this time really takes the cake. After receiving the wrong order, the man who took...our order shelled out whatever excuse he could think of to not take responsibility for his simple mistake, including asking if we had opened it at the restaurant to make sure it was right. When we went downstairs to replace the order the man came outside with the new order but during that interaction he continuously called me "baby" At which point, I told him politely "sir, you don't know me. Please don't call me baby, i'm not your baby. He completely disregarded that and continued calling me baby. All this was in front of Sara, the owner's daughter. She just watched this whole situation unfold and did nothing. We later found out the man is her new boyfriend and that's why she let this happen. Come to find out through my neighbor in the building that sara and her boyfriend were sitting at the bar joking about it and calling me "soup lady" (I had received the wrong type of soup) A small mistake that they turned into a bigger issue by being immature and more importantly, drunk on the job. I have yet to speak to the owner Mike and hope that he will take some sort of action. I will post again and share Mikes handling of the situation as I feel his daughter will change the story and I want it to be documented here.More

Great classic bar on the 9th floor of the Venetian building. Good selection of local beers on tap. Food looked like typical pub food. Highly recommend if you want escape the Miami chic and find the real people
