The food was fine but slightly more expensive than we have paid for similar food in other places. But it’s in a tourist spot right next to Biscayne Bay so not too unreasonable.We enjoyed sitting in the outdoor section. It’s really for visitors who want a unique experience or folks who are fans of “Forest Gump”. Clam chowder was average and shrimp po’ boy was full of small fried shrimp. Service was slightly slower than I would have liked, but the server was friendly and responsive.

The menu is large but of course you must have seafood. We chose the Bourbon Mahi Mahi with shrimp and the trio seafood plate with shrimp, Mahi Mahi fish and a veggie kabob. All food was hot and tasty with a bit of spice. You can sit outside by the Banyan tree and at night the lights are pretty. The overhead fans help to keep cool in the heat of Miami. For dessert we had Key Lime Pie and it was delicious with a real lime bite. Good drinks menu too.

I am conflicted. The food was ok but the prices were high for what you received. We ordered the shrimp er heaven platter and it came with 12 shrimp of three varieties and some fries for $25. That works out to $2 per piece of shrimp. I would expect more quantity of shrimp for that price. The location is nice but based on the high price i would look elsewhere to eat. We also ordered the clam chowder and it was good.

Arrived at hostesses booth, she told us it would be a 45 min wait. She doubled checked and noticed some customers leaving and was able to sit us at a table top next to bar. We sat there for at least 10-15mins before anyone came to take our drink order. A waitress finally arrived, didn't apologize for the wait nor dis she give her name. She took out food order and told us to flip the sign on the table if we needed someone to stop and help. It took an additional 10 mins to get one of the two mixed drinks. And and additional 5 mins for the second drink to arrive. The waitress sat the drinks down and kept walking. The food was ok. No one ever came back to check to see how the food was or if we needed anything. We would just flip the sign or stop our waitress in passing to request condiments and napkins. Towards the end of the meal a different waitress came over and brought us our check. Bottom line the service SUCKED tremendously and I told my spouse not to tip! We typically tip big because being a waitress is a hard job but when you come to work with an attitude, ignoring your customers, etc. I can't empathize with you at all! I waited all day to eat just so I could enjoy myself here and it was ruined. Just a tip for the chef...Try soaking the wooden skewers in water before putting them on the grill this will keep the shrimp from sticking to the skewers as well as keep the skewers from burning while on the grill (see pic).

Have come here for twelve years when I'm in Miami but the service and food seems to just be adequate now. Our server was slow and seemed to be harried but it was not that busy yet in his area. The menu continues to change but I dont care for a lot of what they now offer. It seems that prices are going up and cheaper fish like tilapia is coming on the menu. Not a fan. I used my AARP card for a small discount. You can also use your AAA card. The server told me I couldnt use it until I pointed out that it says you can on their website. He had to go check with his manager. It took 20 minutes to get the bill after asking and another ten minutes of standing waiting for the bill with the waiter then reminding me that gratuity was not figured into the bill. Subtle hint apparently since we only had three of us there and expected that I would be compensating our waiter. Not impressed with service or food and expect that my many trips here have come to an end.

Awful food, bad/slow service and absolutely disgusting toilets (gents). We had to leave the table to get that waiting staff attention. Slow service, food was served and there was no cutlery to eat with - we waited thinking they would bring, but not! We had to go and ask. The food wasn’t great and extremely expensive for what it was! Terrible & tourist trap - don’t go there!!

I ate here last year with my family. We waited far too long for food to arrive. Servers were nowhere to be seen when you needed them. When the food came it was greasy and tasteless. But my shrimps were burnt. I had waited so long for them and we were so hungry and just wanted to leave, so I ate them. At the end I showed the server the black shells and she said, "but you ate them". I explained I couldn't wait another 45 minutes when my family just wanted to go back to the hotel. No apology. I asked for the manager. She said I'd eaten it and didn't bring it to the server's attention. I said why not just knock that dish off the bill as it was burnt black and should not have left the kitchen. She refused, didn't apologise and just kept grinning at me. I asked if she was happy that I was leaving her restaurant appalled at having had to eat burnt food. She just grinned and again said "but you ate it". To top it off the bill was massive for a simply meal. Please avoid this place. It looks so inviting but then they strike you and just don't care.

We ate here as seafood lovers but were disappointed, We had coconut shrimp and it was as sweet as a desert. Perhaps other dishes are not so bad but the sauces and dressings for salad were also rather sweet.
We are not American and did not know this restaurant but it seems to be a typical chain. Pleasant enough atmosphere but I wouldn't eat here again.

Drinks was made and they were gross and syrupy on top a lot of places are using Clovid-19 to get over on customers they charge for the souvenir cups price but brought the drinks out in a paper to go cup. Placed order for food and when she brought it out she explained they couldn’t take credit card or debit cards at the moment so I had to go running around the area looking for a atm. Returned back for food and it was terrible shrimp was cold and tasted like rubber. Ordered a Cesar salad and it was nothing but lettuce no croutons nor cheese I was livid and just left at that point no discount but a $72 ticket and our food was only $10 and salad $4 on the lunch special. Miami is the get over city but I’ll pass on this location Orlando location is great though.

I've previously written a review here as we got to Miami nearly every year for a cruise and I keep trying to like this place because I want to sit outside and we enjoy Bayside Marketplace.
We've been to the Miami Bayside restaurant several times over the years (on vacation) and the food is mediocre, the service is slow and it's just not a great experience overall. (We went this year because our usual restaurant in the area had closed and we like to sit outside and enjoy the weather. Figured it was worth a shot, despite prior disappointments.) On this recent visit, the server (also the bartender, serving us outside - we were probably early arrivals) was very friendly but barely checked back with us as it got busier. A bus person stopped to see what we needed (the bill) but didn't understand us, yet appeared to be telling someone else that we needed something but that person never came over to help. We ended up going into the bar area to ask for our bill and then I told him we were Landry's members so he added our visit to our account. (In other words, nobody asked once if we were Landry's members and we had to seek out our bill in order to pay, in addition to going in one other time to ask for something.) The food was cold, service was slow and it was another disappointing experience. We have a Bubba Gump near our home but always avoid it in favor of Rainforest Cafe right next door (Mall of America) due to our negative experiences in Miami, though it's also got a fun theme for the kids.

Came for a meal night before our cruise, been to this one a few times before so was looking forward to our meal.
Upon our arrival the young male didn’t know if he had a free table, just mumbled something that we couldn’t understand, he then took us through to the overspill restaurant through the shop.
Clean tables around but for some reason he stopped at a dirty table and made us wait for him to clean it, not a great start.
He came back to take our drink order whilst we looked at the menu which was very sticky to hold.
Ordered our food it finally arrived then had to wait and wait for cutlery, I had to get up and find someone he said “oh I can’t find any silverware”!!!!!
In the meantime while we were waiting, our food was getting cold, it didn’t
look very appetising anyway as my shrimp was over the fries, I tried my first shrimp which I could taste coconut I asked my partner to try one and he could taste coconut as well so I called our server over and asked had he delivered the correct meal, yes he said the next thing the manager came over with one single shrimp that had coconut coating which I could tell did look different, but I believe the shrimp is cooked in the same oil.By now I’m really fed up the meals were cold so I had the dishes redone. Never finished the meals, I needed the bathroom BIG MISTAKE FILTHY, i asked for the manager to come in with me and told him what I thought, he agreed that they were appalling.

Forrest Gump themed restaurant. Excellent atmosphere good food and acceptable prices, great if you’re visiting Bayside.
Service was absolutely horrible. No one ever came back to check to see how the food was or if we needed anything.

It was OK! We waited for over 35 minutes for takeout. My husband's shrimp skewers were lukewarm and overcooked. I had shrimp po-boy sandwich with fries requested grilled shrimp instead of fried. They forgot the fries and had to wait on that. Instead of grilled shrimp, I was given small shrimps scrambled all over open sandwich. Very disappointing

Shared a pound of shrimp ($27) with another couple. They were good although not real big compared to $9 a pound shrimp we bought at local grocery. Beers were good and Jose gave us some great service.

I was treated to my birthday meal of choice from my wife and chose our favourite American restaurant chain.. Bubba Gumps...Just as we've had in the past, the food delivered was of the very best quality, and served promptly by the very hospitable staff. At our time of dining, Miami was on the outer fringes of Hurricane Ian, and the weather was very heavy rain and quite windy, so the restaurant was very devoid of tourists, and as a result of this, the management decided to close in the very early evening, but we were in no way rushed to finish our food and drinks. A lovely, fun environment for dining.
