Excellent Diner Food!

Excellent diner food and friendly service. Breakfast menu all day, and a very good selection of breakfast items it is. In addition to the breakfast selection there seems to be a variety that would suit just about anyone. My wife thinks she may be willing to drive the 80 miles one way for their meatloaf!

Just happened to pull of the road to get Fuel and when I got done I looked across the Road and saw the Red Onion so I decided to check it out. MMMMMMMM let me tell you The food there was fantastic and the Price very resonable. I got a Cheese Burger Plate with Fries and Coleslaw and a Drink for only $9.50. The service was real Down Home the waitress very very pleasant. You couldn`t get service or prices later that at McDonalds. Hell just for Burgers and fries and a Drink at MacAss is almost 41300.

Incredible 10 layer cake!

I'll be honest. This food was delicious! I had meatloaf... outstanding.. probably the best meatloaf I've had in 30 years. After being so impressed with my lunch, I decided to take a piece of chocolate cake for the road. OMG. Fabulous. So fabulous that I'm ordering a whole one for my anniversary. I hear the Red Velvet is the better seller, but I can't imagine anything better than the 10-layer chocolate cake I had. Forget Burger King or McDonald's... stop for a spell at The Red Onion Grille. I don't think you'll regret it.

Absolutely terrible.. waited over 30 minutes for our burnt food. And apparently they don’t change out their oil regularly, the fries, tater tots and chicken tenders were fried to a crisp and tasted like burnt oil. Pictures speak volumes. The waitresses were friendly and apologized for our experience. Not their fault.. Definitely do not recommend Red Onion.

Save your money... Arby's is across the street

This is a Non- chain restaurant right off of I-10. So we thought we'd try it out. Food was mediocre at best. My daughter ordered the BLT plate. It was a large sandwich but the bacon was over crispy and the macaroni and cheese side was refrigerator cold. I ordered the pot roast special and it sounded like I took the order.... I kind of wish they had already sold out. It was a stewy mess and over salted. The sweet potato souffle tasted like pumpkin pie filling. The onion rings were really good though. So there is that. My husband ordered a burger and said it was average but nothing to get excited about and the fries were not great. Soooo..... this is not a place we will stop at again.

Wonderful southern cooking!

Excellent southern cooking without a ton of salt and butter!!! Seasoned perfectly! Husband loved the hamburger steak with gravy and onions. I was very impressed with the turnip greens, black eyed peas, and baked sweet potato. We’ll be back every time we drive through the area. Service was good, although the restaurant could use a good cleaning.

I had a t bone baked potato and salad. The steak was OK. The baked potato was the smallest I have ever saw . No crackers on salad bar and when I ask 2 waitresses was told they were in a basket .duh The basket was empty . Waitress restocked salad bar and still failed to stock crackers . This place is going downhill in a hurry

Basic Diner with above average diner foods. The Amazing Country Fried Steak is Legendary. I go here every time I am in town or nearby.The staff is always great also. Hidden Gem

Great diner. Had the 1/2 lb burger. Probably one of the best burgers we have had. Friendly staff and atmosphere. Not much to look at but but food was really good. Always like to support our ag community

Great hole the wall

Good food home style cooking. Decent prices with lotsa food. Not that busy cause its just a regular place but worth the stop if you don't want the run of the mill fast food spots.

We found another Jim red onion grill is a great place. Wonderful food great atmosphere great service. We had the barbecued chicken with the two sides and the cornbread was awesome.

Food is amazing

Stopped here for breakfast/lunch. The food was amazing. The staff was friendly. This place is in a truckstop but if you are going by and hungry definitely recommend you don't pass it by.
