They catered my daughters wedding and it was outstanding. We couldn't have chosen a better menu. The seared Tuna was gone in the blink of an eye and the pork and beef melted in your mouth. And all fresh and organic. The guest loved the fresh fruit and slaw. We thought we may have order too much, but sorry we had very little left overs to eat the following day. The only downside is that we all live so far away and don't have the opportunity to enjoy it again, soon. They were great to work with even with the 6 month covid-19 delay.

Funky fun

Very unique eating area with great variety of food. Able to build your own bowl, taco or wrap with choice of protein and add ons to personalize. Pork and chicken were well seasoned. We ate every bit of our meals. Such a fun place!

Fun, Flavorful Lunch

A local recommended this restaurant to us, and we almost did not come because of the last review. But we are SO glad that we did! It was our favorite meal that we have had so far in The Keys. The food was fresh, interesting, and flavorful. Our family sampled bowls and wraps containing jerk shrimp, pork belly, and island vegetables. Our pickiest eater was satisfied with a cheese quesadilla and smoothie. Our meals were loaded with lots of fruits and vegetables, which was a nice change from some of our meals on vacation. The atmosphere was very cute, too. Fun colors and signs. We did see roosters (and the kids took selfies with them), but we never saw them anywhere besides the ground. While the owners have set up a lovely atmosphere, this restaurant is outdoor eating (basically picnicing) with some shade canopies.

Great food - EVERYTHING is single use disposable plastic. :(

The food is great. The courtyard garden is beautiful and family friendly. I cannot recommend this place because all of the food is served in plastic single use waste. Water bottles only. Plastic forks. There are recycle bins but we all know that those unwashed, food covered plastics with trash inside are not being recycled. Even if some are, it's still such a waste and most are being thrown away. PLEASE use paper plates or even better something reusable for people who are dining in. Have an option (at least) for people who are eating there to not have to use single use plastic. We can't come back and cannot recommend your place because of this. It's such a shame because the food is great! Please, please, please make a change!

Thank you for your review and I'm sorry that our use of recyclable plastics offends you. We are a food truck that does 90% to go service so we are limited to the vessels we can use to deliver our product. We spend 4x the amount of money on recyclable items vs styrofoam in an effort to be environmentally conscious. Lastly I would like to put your mind at ease in the fact that I have 3x the amount of recycling pickups than I do trash here at this property and I'm the one that sees to these items getting in their right places. We hope you enjoy your time in the Florida Keys

Diners dives and drives

Our server bob at steak and lobster house told us that there was a dinners dives and drives episode in marathon and we watched it and then went here and there food is very good and sticks to your ribs. The restaurant next door barracuda is really good too. Thanks bob for local knowledge

Best BBQ!

I live in Kansas and have eaten at several of the best BBQ places in KC but nothing compares to the Hawaiian beef at Irie Island Eats. This is the only place we went to twice during our vacation in Marathon. Highly recommend the bowls with the Irie Island veggies and the Hawaiian beef.

Unique dining experience with mouth-watering foods!

Unique dining experience with amazingly delicious food! Walk through the yellow gates to a fun outdoor dining area like you’re eating in the jungle. Lots of tables well spaced out to choose from. The flavors are absolutely mouth-watering! We highly recommend the Mango BBQ rib bowl (meat falling off the bone), the Polynesian Mixed Green Salad with Seared Tuna (the soy dressing is so GOOD) and the mango pineapple smoothie. We will definitely be back again to try the create your own taco and bowl options. We played jumbo Connect 4 and Jenna while we waited for our food...which did not take long at all.

Great food in a mini jungle oasis

Omg! So good! After being on vacation for a week and eating out all week - this felt good to eat and was absolutely delicious. Wish we would have been in marathon longer than 1 night to have gone back a second time. We will be back! Such a cute property. Perfect for the kids. Feels like you’re in a jungle oasis. And the food was so good. Thank you!!

Fun and tasty, worth the stop.

The service is friendly, courteous and prompt. We enjoyed their mojo chicken and hawaiian beef very much, which were presented and complimented with an assortment of healthy and tasty sides. Other than the prices needing a trim, no complaints here. Five stars all the way. Great job and keep up the good work Irie Island Eats!

I wish I could bring this restaurant home with us! Absolutely loved the fresh food and ease with ordering gluten free food. We ate here twice in the same week. The Kalua pork was so flavorful and tender. They were willing to accommodate children size portions.

The first of many visits to come on this trip. We went for lunch on a recommendation and thank goodness we didn’t wait. We got the bowls, one with spicy and sweet tuna, the other with smoked chicken. Cool vibe and can’t wait to eat there tomorrow.

Dont go if its too hot

the title is due that you eat outside (shade and fan included) but if it is too hot... you can't enjoy the food. Very tasty truck food. Nice smoothies and coke on bottle!! Quesadillas very good and the bowls... the rice could have been better.

Great food with an island vibe

We stopped in to Irie for breakfast after a recommendation from a friend. We could not have been happier with our choice. The owner/chef/Chris could not have been more accommodating and the decor made you truly feel like you had been transported to your favorite Caribbean island. We will definitely return.

The locals informed us that this was a must eat. They didn't let us down. We enjoyed almost all of our meal and also were impressed with friendly service. The mojo chicken was a touch dry and the cole slaw left some to be desired. Other than those two things my meal was excellent. Everything was fresh and nothing lacked flavor. This wrap was a job well done. My wife really enjoyed her pork wrap as well. Her only complaint was that something of texture needs added like tortilla strips or something with a crunch. We would eat here again and has our stamp of approval. Thank you!

Delicious lunch find!

Husband said the daily special / Prime Thyme wrap as amazing. So MANY offerings with wraps, bowls, meats, toppings and sides! I have a very restrictive diet and I had no issue with finding something suitable and delicious. Seating is unconventional, but interesting. I highly recommend lunch here and it seems like a lot of locals are repeat/daily customers. I only wish they had a better bathroom/sink situation but this should not dissuade you from stopping here to get a scrumptious meal!
