Came here on several recommendations for an evening meal. It was already dark, on a cloudy day, so didn’t see anything of a sunset ourselves, but could imagine it being a good spot. We initially sat out on the area by the side of the stage, and the live music was nice, but it rained so we moved in. The servers were attentive. The menu is nothing special -pretty much average options for the area “fried, blackened, grilled ....” -We enjoyed our meals but did think it was overpriced so didn’t bother with dessert. The key lime colada was lovely though. Could see the appeal on an afternoon if the band was good and the sun was shining.

Best spot in the upper keys! The food is delicious and reasonably priced, great service, they usually have live music and the best sunset view anywhere! What more could you ask for…? We stop here every time we are in the Keys, but haven’t been to the keys in awhile and now I remember why we always come here. Came twice during our recent visit. Super cool & chill place. Also has a marina for water sports and charters next-door…

Their signature tangerine drink was very good. I got the Chicken Fiesta Bowl, which was also pretty good but nothing outstanding. We got the frozen key lime pie and chocolate cake, which were both very disappointing. The frozen key lime pie was not actually frozen at all, or even cold! It was also too fluffy for my liking. The chocolate cake also had too much frosting and ganache and looked and tasted like any old chocolate cake you could get from a grocers. Drinks and entrees here were good but desserts didn’t meet the mark. Hope they get some new ones in the future or update theirs. At least serve Frozen key lime pie actually cold and frozen.

Family of 4...Hate to leave a bad review but not sure how this restaurant is rated so high. Only have 2 stars because of the setting and smoked fish spread. Everything else was terrible!! Portobello mushrooms sandwich was a mushy mess! Bun was mushy and spinach was wilted. Both of my children had to get new sodas because they were completely watered down. My vodka soda also had hardly any alcohol in it. For a $100 bill I expected at least decent food. In addition there is a difference between good quick service and being rushed. We were rushed!! We sat down and literally within 2 minutes we were asked what we wanted before we even had a chance to read anything on the menu! 3 minutes later he returns again to ask what we want. Planned on staying to watch the band and sunset but not worth it. Will never return. Total waste of money and evening.

The vibe here is great, very relaxed, easy going, live music and the service is pretty good for how busy they are. I ordered the stone crab chowder which was pretty good, and vegan sautee, very simple dish but had absolutely NO flavor. I asked our waitress to bring me a menu because it didn't taste like anything, she made sure I wasn't going to eat it, took a bite and said 'Oh, yea, normally it's better.' (I had no problem with her tasting the food I wasn't going to eat, I'm kind of glad she did because it validated that it did suck!) I couldn't decide what I wanted to order so I told her not to worry about it and she brought me some fried Mahi-Mahi, which was just ok. My friend ordered the grilled mahi-mahi tacos, and outside of the cilantro-lime mayo, they were super basic and flavorless. They didn't come with cabbage or mixed cheese it was shredded iceberg lettuce and cheddar cheese. The best thing there were the drinks, the only thing I would recommend this place for is the view of the sunset and the drinks. The Key Lime Colada was delicious!

My husband and I had read all the hoopla about this place and were pumped to try it. We waited an hour and a half, which we expected and took in stride. When we were finally seated they sat us in the bar area with absolutely NO view. We sat for about 30 minutes and nobody greeted us. My husband had to say something for us to get service. All I wanted to eat were the stone crabs, and when I tried, the bartender said they "just sold out." Imagine my disappointment after waiting 2 hours, not to mention had she tended to us when we sat down, I can't help but wonder if they would have been available. A big fail on their part. I ordered the conch fritters and they were the worst ones I have ever had, super grisly. This place boasts the sunset view and live music and our experience was the complete opposite. Don't waste your time and money here. Their tag line is "look for the big mermaid" my recommendation is "drive past the big mermaid and don't look back."

This was a wonderful location on the beach but we got off to a poor start when the waiters ignored us for about 15 minutes, even though we obeyed the sign that told us to seat ourselves. Finally, after speaking to two wait staff, we were told that we should have been standing by our table, not sitting. So we all stood up and waited some more time until someone finally officially acknowledged that we needed to be served.

They got me once, but won't get me twice. If you have ever had good food if you have any clue what good food should taste like don't waste your time at that place. The food is really weak bar food. The kitchen is filthy, I know because I made the mistake of looking in when my family and I walked past. The staff (wearing t-shirts that say "STAFF" on them) just has no clue what a real dining experience or quality food is all about. The prices are cheaper than any other place because the food is frozen crap for the most part. Wow, Gordan Ramsey would have a field day at this place. Everything about it is bad except the location, it is on the water.

Setting was great, if you get hot, ask for an umbrella. The staff was super nice. Food was very generic, came in baskets, fish tacos were ok, too much cheese (and I never say that), we got the stone crab claws and those were ok, not a lot for $19 appetizer

We took the catch from our charter and had them cook it in a sampler cooked 3 ways with fries. Blackened was our favorite but all 3 were delicious! I am not a big fish person but it was spectacularly prepared. It was a beautiful view also. Our waiter though seemed irritated to seat us and take our order. He was very unfriendly. It took a really long time. We also shared key lime pie which was delicious and covered in fluffy whipped cream.

Visited on New Year’s Day and the restaurant was rammed. We found a table on the beach (nice views of the boats) and waited to the served but the serving staff were overwhelmed and not able to cope with the numbers of people. We had to wait an age to be served and only got served because we kept flagging one of the waitresses down. Be this time we were getting hot and hangry. To make matters worse there was a singer providing live ‘entertainment’ right behind our table and was difficult to drown out! When the food eventually came some of it (the sautéed vegetables for the vegetarian) was pretty much inedible as it was poorly cooked and coated in some awful spice mixture. The rest of the food average. Disappointing all round really.

We walked down to Lorelei’s after arriving famished and tired at our Islamorada hotel nearby. We could hear the music from a block away and upon arriving, realized it was live! We were seated immediately at an appropriately socially distanced table with a excellent view of the bay. The floor was a sandy little beach with tiki torches and Christmas lights. To access the restrooms, you will walk by a marina which is home to lots of luxurious yachts. The restrooms are clean and well-stocked. Our waitress was patient and allowed us to kinda order as we pleased, lingering to catch a couple more of the band’s songs. I had a mango bango frozen drink and my husband had a margarita on the rocks. Both were tasty. We both had grilled grouper which absolutely ROCKED! Very reasonably priced menu items and great location for us.

This weekend we had a girls trip to the keys. Our first dinner and sunset we chose Lorelei which I found thru reviews on trip advisor. It’s a large restaurant, with a nice sandy beach, great viewing spot for sunsets on the gulf. There wasn’t a sunset this night but it did not matter. Our servers’ name was Angela. We hit the jackpot. It was very hot and humid outside and from the moment we all introduced ourselves she hustled. I think every time she ran past us we got another round of ice water and glasses of ice. They had a live band which was very good, not loud and a dance floor. We enjoyed very well made cocktails which were always quickly delivered, no waiting. Our dinner was fantastic and very large portions. We wanted fresh fish and Angela recommended yellow snapper with key lime sauce and coconut rice. It was to die for. We had such a great experience that the second night we tried Morada bay and everything was wrong with them that night. We had one drink and left. Called Lorelei told them we were not happy did they have a table and not only did they give us one, they had a free round of drinks waiting! The second night we had Emily and she too was awesome. Such a relaxing, personable place to go. Matt the manager is doing a great job with the restaurant, you will not be disappointed.

My girlfriend and I were fishing our ways through the keys and we had a good recommendation to stop here to have the fish we caught cooked for us. Place was very busy (we showed up after 9) and we could not find any open tables, but eventually found a spot at the service Tiki Bar between the beach and near the neighboring marina. The bartender (Alicia I think) was swamped, but she was pleasant, attentive, and got the fish we brought taken care of right away. The fish itself was prepared well and the coleslaw that came with it was awesome. Price was reasonable. I would recommend, but be ready to wait and deal with some chaos

We had a great meal here. The food was wonderful and the setting was very pretty. Soup, shrimp and Thai mahi bites were some of our favorites. Only issues were our server was from the back bar and was not pleasant at all. Normal questions and refill requests were met with eye rolls and an annoyed “I usually tend bar”. We were there the day bars were shut down though so we chalked it up to maybe a stressful or annoyed situation about that. Every other staff member we encounter was very pleasant though. Only other complaint was the frozen key lime pie. It was awful. It tasted exactly like a pie shell filled with cool whip and drizzled with a key lime sauce. It was in no way frozen and was really bad. We’d definitely go there again and it would have been five stars if not for our server and the weird frozen key lime pie.
