This small ice cream shop has a wide variety of bluebell ice cream as well as several local custom flavors that are fantastic. My favorite is the Mango ice cream. Their pricing is very economical. They are very generous with their portions.

I would summarize this as your typical vacation destination ice cream joint. The ice cream was tasty and the fella behind the counter was entertaining. Had a good time along with some very good (maybe overpriced) ice cream.

Two of the world's greatest inventions all under one roof!! This non-assuming place has a small but unique selection of hand-dipped ice cream, coupled with an excellent coffee selection....including a lot of Cuban coffee options. This was a fantastic place for an afternoon treat!

My wife and I, along with another married couple we're friends with, visited the Keys near the end of September 2020, and we visited a different dessert place each night. Unfortunately, this was the most disappointing experience we had. First off, it's not homemade ice cream as we expected. Second, the ice cream we got was basically frozen on top, almost icy. Third, my wife's ice cream had a hair in it. Also, cash only isn't great during COVID. So, all around, not an ideal experience.

After looking at reviews online, we chose to take our children to Mrs. G’s for our final night on vacation in the Keys. We saw that the posted closing time was 9:00 pm. We arrived at the shop at 8:50 and saw two elderly people eating their ice cream out front. We walked up to the door and saw a young man (employee) standing near the front door and behind the register. Another gentleman (middle-aged) was also in the store and walked to a back room when I approached to door. It was locked. I knocked on the door and the employee completely ignored me. I tried speaking with him and explained that it was stated that 9:00 was closing time. He didn’t even acknowledge me but instead stared straight ahead and appeared to be talking to himself. I understand that they were on the tail end of their day, but in this day and age, it would’ve been nice to have been acknowledged. We won’t return here. Disappointing when advertised hours are not adhered to.

We stopped in for a cold treat. Great selection of flavors to choose from and our server was quick and friendly. We all got cones and the sat outside to eat them. It was 82 degrees and the cones tasted delicious. Loved it

Even though this came up on my "ice cream" search, the Cuban Coffee is TERRIFIC and now I'm hooked! Such nice staff- from the lady that made my coffee to the young man serving ice cream. Very enthusiastic and great service. I will literally go there every day next year when we return for the coffee (and the cheese stuffed bread).

They have a tremendous variety of ice cream and it is REALLY good. The staff was very nice but we felt the facility could use some updating. We liked that they have the option to sit inside while we waited for the rain to stop. All in all very good.

Great little place for a good Cuban Coffee! Stayed nearby for 2 nights and walked here for a great coffee. Was not disappointed! The lady working was so sweet and kind too. Just love supporting businesses like this 😊

I had a great experience here last night. The man working was very kind and comical. Oh ya the ice cream was yummy as well. As a ice cream lover this is my new fav spot!!

Stopped in one evening for ice cream and it was great , very large portions and ok prices. Later in the week we stopped in for cuban coffee which was excellent, nice location to the Islander , easy in and out.

It seemed like the place was going out of business, they didn't have much on the menu, but what they did have was nice staff, delicious ice cream and generous portions.
Well, my visist was just after Thanksgiving, so maybe they had just sold the sandwiches, pies...
