As a clam chowder afficionado the place serves the best clam chowda other than MA. It's number 2 to Legal Seafood. The broth is not to thick or to thin its perfect . Just the right amount of potatoes and clams. It's bowl licking fantastic.

We enjoyed our delicious salads with shrimp and grouper while watching the sunset. The wait staff was attentive without being intrusive and the Florida salad was delicious. Great views and food right at the marina.

Laid back place with great view, cool atmosphere and a menu with many choices. Very good service and high food quality. Friends living in Dunedin consider this one of the popular regular places to go for.

This used to be an awesome spot to grab a drink or meal. But apparently not anymore. Went for a late lunch and was greeted by a server who acted as if he wanted to be anywhere but there, a menu with very little to choose from (no fresh oysters although they always had them), and tippy picnic table seating. Food was expensive and uninspiring -- some tacos and wraps that didn't sound great. We ordered two drinks. The margarita came in a small plastic cup and the hard seltzer in just the can. No offer of a cup or ice. We ended up downing the drinks quickly and leaving. Sad to say, but this place is off my list permanently.

The service is good but the food is terrible, I ordered Mahi (catch of day) and shrimps with Asian noodle, the Mahi was ok but the shrimp (It’s the cooked and frozen bags that they bought from publix) no test. the noodles it is what was left from a day or two before 😮 and since they don’t have French fries they offer Kettle chips (lays) 😂 my son get shrimps cocktail (publix) of course 😉 six shrimps one lettuce plus kettle chips, my daughter got chicken fingers and kettle chips and my wife chicken wrap salad with kettle chips 🤢 (none of us ate of course). I respect other people reviews but personably never again to this (Restaurant) and I don’t recommend it. We arrived at noon Sunday and it was empty that was a sign but I understood after why it was empty 😂.

This was probably the second worst meal ever. I ordered the BBQ pulled pork it was dry , maybe a teaspoon of sauce and maybe 5 or 6 pieces of cabbage that was supposed to be coleslaw.I also substituted avacado for side of kettle chips was told 1.75 extra and received 1/2 of a very small avacado. On the menu avacado is the same price for a side as the kettle chips not sure for extra charge.

We were visiting the area and wanted to try something new that’s “not a chain”. Best thing about this place was the sunset view. Food was mediocre. Crab cake and potato salad was good. Mahi and shrimp were bland. Our server was about as rude as she could be and acted like it irritated her for us to ask a question. They can’t do frozen drinks and the mixed drink we got was terrible. Oh, if you need to split your check be sure to tell them when you order or that may be a problem as well. We will not be back.

Pluses for being per friendly. We were seated very quickly and received our food quickly as well. Good overall service. Two of us had swordfish, which was very good. Sides could have used some improvement. Asian noodle slaw was bland and vegetables were undercooked. I would go back, just order different sides. Great sunset views.

We did a dolphin sunset tour and stumbled upon this restaurant in the marina area and gave it a try and we were quite happy with the food. And it was quiet eating outside by the water and really enjoyed that. The staff is wonderful

We visited on a cool (55 degree) and windy day for lunch. All indoor tables were taken—and surprisingly, the outdoor seating was also pretty crowded despite the cold wind. That was our first hint that this place MUST be good. We ended up at a high top on the deck. The wind breaks helped a bit and the view made it all ok. Our server (and several others) were super friendly and attentive. A very hard working but happy team! My grilled grouper sandwich was the best I’ve every had. Anywhere. Ever. And it isn’t even close. The grouper was grilled perfectly and was finished with a lemon & butter sauce. Honestly fantastic. My wife had the corn & shrimp chowder which was also delicious. Spending 2 weeks in Florida, we had probably 30 restaurant meals, ranging from elegant to super casual. Local seafood was always our go-to. This was just an easy lunch in a super casual setting—but it was easily my favorite meal of the trip.

Olde Bay Cafe is across the street from the Best Western. We stay there because it is not only on the water but less than 2 short blocks to the Pinellas paved trail. My wife had the shrimp salad sandwich that came on a croissant and she said it was great plus it had a lot of tasty shrimp. I had the smoked turkey club that was also very good. Service was fantastic and the restaurant had a steady number of people coming in.

Stopped in based on a recommendation from a local. Loved dining outside on the water casually. We shared a cup of the Corn & Shrimp Chowder, then each ordered fish tacos. I had grouper and mahi; he had haddock. Lunch was delicious!!

I’ll start with the positives - the view was nice, the service was very good and the beer was pretty cheap. However, we won’t be going back for the food. The Greek salad was cheap iceberg lettuce and extremely overpriced when you add protein, the vegetables tasted like they came from a frozen bag from the grocery store and if you don’t mind mediocre food on cheap plastic and styrofoam, you may enjoy this place. Casual drinks and appetizers with friends would be ok, but otherwise I’d say try some other place. I feel I was pretty generous in giving this place 3 stars

So many reasons I can’t recommend this place and not even sure how it manages to be in the top 20 places to eat in Dunedin. First of all, approximately 1/2 of the “dining area” is cramped and you have to sit in the sun if you’re there at lunchtime. The menu has nothing unique or different and is overpriced considering the quality. I had shrimp tacos that were tiny “bait like” shrimp, clearly farm raised junk from Asia. They were maybe steamed with no seasoning or flavor. They put some shredded coleslaw mix on top on a small flour tortilla. That’s it. No sauce of any kind, no lime, no cilantro, no nothing to add some flavor. After a few bites I asked for some sort of hot sauce and they brought out some Crystal? So hubby’s experience with his “cod” taco was the same as mine with the shrimp. Oh, we got some kettle chips on the side which sadly was the best part! Unless you want to sit by the water and drink a beer, there are much better options in town. Save your money.

In the area visiting family, we met here for lunch. (My first time in Dunedin - cute little town.) This restaurant sits waterside, I believe it was all outdoor seating (shaded). Casual. Had the grouper tacos, very fresh and tasty.
