Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This bakery/restaurant makes very good food, but service is abominable. Lines go out the door and then the owner takes someone off one of the cash registers. Meanwhile he wanders around helping no one. It is suspected they want long lines so people look at...the sugary cookies and other items and will want to buy them while they stand on line for 10 or 20 minutes. All this does is anger customers and send them elsewhere. If something doesn't sell right away, they don't wait for it to be discovered—they ruined the baguette business they had that way but every other store sells lots of baguettes. The owners just don't know how to run a business, but do bake well and make some good sandwiches, but I prefer to avoid the hassles of eating there. And the dining room is so noisy that people want to leave fast. The owners should stay in the kitchen and have someone run the place who knows what they are doing.More

In my opinion, I feel like this business is going downhill. Did a half order of baja cobb salad and smoothie. Food was ok. Way too much lettuce and not enough salad toppings. Need an additional dressing, as one dressing cup wasn't enough for the...entire salad. In addition, I thought salad was just a tad salty mostly from bacon pieces. Smoothie was good. There were no knife to spread butter over bread and no straws if I wanted to finish smoothie after eating. In addition there was very limited seating. There was more seating in connecting building. Staff was ok, nothing special. Friendly at the cashier. However, when eating one of the staff member was almost rude waiting for someone to pick up their order. I don't know that staff member name.More

As a transplanted Easterner, with a bit of a bagel attitude, it's just wonderful to find a place with properly made bagels. And this place is it. It's big, with a big menu, great sides, lots of schmears, lots of toppings, great coffee and quick...service. And there's lots of well-spaced seating And the waitstaff is friendly and helpful. Being traditional, I had the New Yorker - scream cheese, lox, red onion, tomato and a ton of capers on toasted onion. It was lavish with the lox and just great. Can't recommend more highlylMore

The bread is 50% more, the size of the bread is quite a bit smaller, though every week that changes. Some 2/3 the size, sometimes a little more. And to make it worse, the bread is full of air holes, so you get even less...bread. So the real price is double or more even with less than 10% inflation. More than 20 year customers, we have found a new bakery with a funny Hawaiian name and less expensive “home made” bread. Times are tough for everyone, but if you price yourselves out of the market, things can change fast.More

Stopped in and picked out a couple scones for the next day. The scones are a generous portion and were still fresh & delicious the next day. Would definitely stop here again when in the area. Note-there was a notice on the door of an...early closing due to staffing shortages. If planning to go late in the day, you may want to call and confirm the hours before going.More

Came here at the lunch hour, literally 12:00pm. No bagels to be found. How can you be a bagel shop and not have any bagels by lunch. Plan appropriately. Instead I had to get regular bread but lay the same high price. Potential. Yes. Application...of being a bagel shop. Nope.More

So sorry! Yup, no bagels that afternoon. Big screw up on our part. We lost all of a day's product! In our defense, that has happened only twice in 27 years.

I know wheat has increased in price, but $7.50 for a loaf of multigrain bread? It is great bread, but that is about 75 cents for each piece of bread. I guess it is time to learn how to bake bread.

Gene, I literally feel your pain! You should see our supply invoices! It's not just wheat, but all grains, dairy, proteins, vegetables, deisel fuel, natural gas for ovens. We've also increased pay for our staff to match this year's inflation (huge).

We stopped here for food on the way to Moab. The bagels were tasty and the cinnamon roll was incredible. The food had clearly been made freshly that day.
