Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Went to Dream Cafe for breakfast based on a recommendation from our server in a local bar and we weren’t disappointed. We had a short wait as it was a holiday Monday but it was worth it. Service was excellent. Our server was friendly and...attentive and we were well looked after. We had an omelette and the jalapeño steak bene. Both were fantastic. No issues with customising the omelette. Food was piping hot and obviously freshly cooked to order. We’d really recommend Dream Cafe and would absolutely go back on our next visit.More

I am no expert on what Grand Junction has to offer, however as someone who lives a couple hours away and comes here several times a year. This is by far the best breakfast we have had in Grand Junction.

A very hip local café in the heart of Grand Junction on Main St. service is excellent from the hosting to the waitresses. Awesome atmosphere and feels like you want to be there for more. I had the Jalapeño Eggs Bene with hash brown and...it was delicious to the last bite. Even platting was outstanding. You can compliment your food with a tasty Irish Coffee. Definitely a place to eat and recommended.More

I had an omelet and it tasted like either the oil was rancid or was cheap lard. Last time I had an omelette that bad was at some crummy mountain restaurant several years ago.

We want to love this place, but they have made it impossible. We've had issues with all 3 visits. The first time the food was not cooked properly, also asked for allergens to be removed but they were not, we had to eat separately or...one of us would have had cold food waiting for the other dish to be redone. 2nd visit the quiche came out with raw dough and it was sent back for scrambled eggs because that was the fastest thing to cook and we still ate separately and the hollandaise has almost no flavor. Today we got there 10 minutes before our out of town guests, they wouldn't seat us. (Policy is the entire party must be present) There were 12 open tables when we arrive so we found this ridiculous. If there was a line or long wait list that would have been different. We had to sit by the door freezing every time it would open. Friend didn't eat her eggs, the were not cooked through, the hollandaise again had no flavor, the steak on my bennie was mostly grizzle and fat. As the old saying goes. "3 times and you're out."More

Based on the reviews we wanted to love it… However, it was subpar at best. The decor looked like it belonged adjacent to the Springhill suites where we were staying. Once you get past the decor… We were hoping for a great meal based on...reviews. We ordered the avocado toast with poached eggs. There was zero flavor except for the taste from the burnt toast. I ordered a decaf coffee and when the server came to refill the coffee she refilled it with regular. Not that that was a big deal because the coffee was so weak it was see-through. The regular coffee was weak as well. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this to anyone and have already told the rest of our family members not to go there.More

Cute cafe experience. We sat outside on a gorgeous day; the umbrellas & tables are on the sidewalk in front of the restaurant so you can view the Main Street activity easily. The hostess was outside & encouraged us to try this spot & we...are glad we did. I fully enjoyed my chicken salad & ice tea. They do not serve COKE products. The restaurant inside is one large room with minimal ambiance, so sit outside if you can. The food & service are worth it. Thanks to the hostess for “waving us tourists down.”More

the servers could have been much more attentive when it comes to providing timely refills. They have a "mask friendly" sign posted on their front door, but the only person I observed wearing one was a server, and 90% of the time her nose was...fully exposed because she had a poor-fitting cloth mask. What's the point, exactly, ma'am?More

My wife and I were here for Breakfast this week. Service was great. Server was on her game and made the visit enjoyable. Food was shockingly fast out of the kitchen. The food itself was just good. Not great.

This diner-like restaurant is only open for breakfast and lunch. We went for breakfast on a cool and crisp October morning and sat on the patio out front. Our server was friendly and accommodating. The coffee was rich and delicious. We had a wonderful breakfast...frittata and a blueberry pancake and topped it off with one of their delicious and famous giant cinnamon buns covered in icing and cinnamon butter. Of course, we had to skip lunch. A must stop for anyone visting Grand JunctionMore

A phone call to the Dream Cafe could answer that question as summertime may have sidewalk seating. Inside the cafe no dogs!
