Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Bin707 provides an unparalleled experience with unique, regional, local ingredients, and a service executed at the highest of levels. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the product they are so proud to serve. I recommend Bin707 to anyone passing by Grand Junction as it is such an incredible restaurant that highlights the regional cuisine of Western Colorado.

We dined at Bin 707 a number of years ago when driving from LA to Denver. They don't take reservations and we were looking for a place that had a socially-distanced patio or take out--both of which they offer. We opted for their patio, because it offered individual dining pods that are sanitized between patrons. Last time we were here, I thought that the food was too fussy, with too many ingredients for the sake of adding ingredients. This time was different. We ordered cocktails, a green pepper appetizer, burgers, butter lettuce salad, and salted caramel chocolate pie. Everything was delicious. The staff was fantastic. This may be the most expensive restaurant in Grand Junction, but it was worth the price.

The restaurant is located in an office building but it is a simple, smart use of space. Hostess was super friendly and seated us in the outdoor Covid-19 compliant greenhouse pods. The fingerling potato appetizer was a great starter. The ciopponi had the best spicy sauce we have ever tasted. The duck with homemade pasta was perfectly prepared and a palate delight. Drinks are pricey but the house red wine was an excellent pairing. Our server, Ashlee, was awesome.

Was driving through Grand Junction on the way to Denver and was so happy to find this place. It was unbelievably good, and I'm normally a food snob. I had a deconstructed potato fondue dish, a brussel sprouts dish, the pork "katsu", and a cocktail. All of it was top tier and the vegetables fresh. Everything was cooked to perfection, I'm still dreaming of the potatoes fondue...You can tell thought and care is put into every element. My business partner who was with me has a number of food allergies and the staff and kitchen were beyond accommodating. If you consider yourself a foodie, this is absolutely a must stop!

My daughter and I came two nights in a row. The food and friendly staff was flawless. I have never had a meal with such unique combinations of flavors. Even though the food was beyond compare and set a new bar for future dining, the servers were very approachable and gave great recommendations and explanations. I would never come to Grand Junction without visiting this “food bar”. I am forever smitten.

I went there for the delicious Bin Burger like always, arriving early, about 5:30, to dine alone with my book in hand. Although there were only a few people dining at that time, the music was extremely loud. I made two requests to have it turned down ad was rudely informed, by two different 'twenty-something" staff members, that they would "see if that was possible." The music was NOT turned down and no reason or apology was offered. I intended to reflect this lack of consideration in my tip, but was shocked to see on the bill that the management had already added a 20% service charge! While the burger was as good as ever, I will not return again until the owner improves the behavior of the staff as unlikely as that probably is!

A friend and I went for lunch recently and the restaurant charged a 20% "service charge" on top of our bill, as it states they will on the menu. They state that, "We collect a 20% Service Charge rather than gratuity in addition to all guest checks. We believe all Bin 707 Foodbar employees contribute to every guest's experience. Unlike Gratuity, all service can be and are distributed throughout our entire staff." The food was good, but I will probably never return to this restaurant or any of their sister locations because of this business practice. IMO, it is poor business to add a 20% fee on top of the fee that you are already charging for the service you are providing (food). Your wait staff will earn a good tip because they are good at what they do. If the rest of your staff wants to earn a tip, they should've been a waiter/waitress. As a business if you feel like your chef, and other staff members deserve more money, then pay them more and stop taking the tip from the wait staff.

My wife and I really enjoyed our dinner here. The service was first class and the food was well prepared and presented. I had the lamb tenderloin and my wife had the porchetta. We started with the mayocoba bean hummus with fried cauliflower - - very unique and very tasty !! My lamb was done to a perfect medium rare and my wife's porchetta was very flavorful. The portions are adequate but certainly on the small side so if you are starving, you may want to order more or visit on another day. The restaurant has some unique offerings such as a Colorado bourbon flight and we enjoyed the nice change of pace. The meal was not inexpensive but if you enjoy excellent and somewhat unique food with first class service, this spot is well worth it.

We stopped into our favorite Grand Junction restaurant, Bin 707 Foodbar, and I ordered the fried chicken sandwich. Loved pairing it with Sauvage Spectrum Extra Dry bubbly that had just been added to the list. French fries + bubbly = LIFE. I am always excited about the local, seasonally driven cuisine here at Bin, and Chef Josh's wine and beer list is something that I can count on to lead me into a new direction, be it a local choice or a funky, off-the-beaten-path glass. If this restaurant wasn't located an hour away form me, I'd be there a couple nights a week!!

One of the best dining experiences we’ve had in years! Many restaurants serve the same old tired dishes, but not this place where everything was unique and creative and many things were items we couldn’t cook ourselves at home. Beautiful and tasty. The service was also top notch, the server guided us with dietary restrictions and let my husband taste a couple wines to find the right one for him. Farm to table concept including many of the ones were from local wineries. If this were near home would be coming back here on a regular basis.

We got take out here after a long day of hiking in the Grand Junction area and the food was excellent. We had the crispy artichoke and fennel starter and the wagya beef entree. We split these between two of us and there was plenty of food for both. The beef was delicious and came with an arugala and mint sauce, broccoli rabe and bulgar. The artichoke and nettle was fried crispy but very light. We also got the the caramel chocolate pretzel pie and the blueberry tart for dessert. All of it was excellent with large portions. We wil definitely go back on our next trip to the area.

Frankly, we didn't expect to find such high-quality food in Grand Junction. Really interesting items especially the appetizers. E.g, Jerusalem artichoke hushpuppies were on offer the night we were there. Our server was first-rate in offering food and wine suggestions.

Stayed in Grand Junction for the evening and was able to eat at this excellent restaurant. Arrived at 5:30 and got one of the last tables. 😊The food is creatively presented, locally sourced and absolutely delicious. We had the mussels...best ever! The lamb tenderloin was perfectly prepared. The homemade pasta was in a flavorful sauce. The Wild Blossom Spritz (gin drink with sweet botanicals) was so refreshing after hiking 10 miles at Arches. Don’t miss this gem if you are in town!

Nate was an INCREDIBLE server who led us through the most incredible experience. My husband and I are big foodies from California and we have NEVER experienced food this good. We will have to come back here every year. It’s to DIE for. Thank you all sooooo much. Drinks: tequila and whiskey sours Appetizers: cheese and charcuterie plate and crispy fennel and artichoke Main: porchetta Dessert: blueberry tart We weren’t sure about everything at first, but man... taste bud explosion! Amazing.

My wife and I went to the Bin 707 on a Sunday evening and had a great waitress named Nikki G. Earlier in our stay at the DoubleTree, we had a bad experience with one of the front desk employees and mentioned it to Nikki. She heard our story and was very sympathetic and before we left the bar, she offered us 2 breakfast vouchers which really changed our attitude towards the DoubleTree Hotel. Thanks Nikki for the great service!
