Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Our waitress was wonderful!!! My shocker came when I got the check. When asked if I wanted a 6 oz or 9 oz I went for the 9 oz. Should have looked on the menu to see that the 6 oz is $14 (outrageous for...a short glass of wine!) Then when my check came the 9 oz glass (of nothing special Reisling) was $19.50!!! Holy crap! First off, that price is NOT listed on the menu and secondly....That's a completely crazy price for one glass of wine! The manager did take $3.50 off the price to bring it down to $16 but still that's ridiculous! Won't order a drink there again!More

Daughter's birthday. They'd been here before and liked it. Nice atmosphere, fast service. I had a house Margarita, which was very good. Dinner started with Beer Cheese Soup, which hit the spot on a cold evening Main was Shepherds Pie, which was good, but not...as good as in Ireland made with Guinness. Would definitely go back!More

Stopped in for dinner on a Sunday eve. We were sat immediately. Large dining room. Extensive menu. We enjoyed the pretzel appetizer, the Sheperds pie was flavorful, the Rueben was a delicious corn beef. We would stop in again.

Service was very good as was the atmosphere. The menu had a variety of items which suited us. We were seated and served promptly. I like having the menu directly from Trip Advisor so I don’t have to go to a website or worst of...all—Facebook.More

Very nice patio. Good service. Good drinks. Good food. I would go there again when in town. It’s not just a beer place but has a full bar.

Very happy with recommendation of Ale House by hotel staff. Nice varied menu, with good atmosphere and friendly staff. We had fish and chips, and fish tacos. The fish in both was cooked perfectly, sauces very flavorful, slaw very fresh and tasty.

I eat here at least once a month. I love how they change the menu often for diversity. The the blacken ahi tuna steak appetizer is so good! And their Moscow Mules are my favorite. I definitely recommend.

Went to the Ale house last night, had not been in 6 yrs due to another reason. Great patio, atmosphere, and good server..had a very mediocre french dip and reuben. The bill came with a 3% " Kitchen surcharge", had not heard of this before...and ask our server. She said it was to help the kitchen staff with more money....is it a customers responsibility now to help pay kitchen staff wages..? Will not return to the ale house..More

Don't order the ribeye! Most of the food here is good and I love the atmosphere. I made the mistake of order the ribeye. I received an anemic looking piece of meat which was over salted. I wish I had ordered anything else on the...menu. They have fabulous salads, pizzas, sandwiches, even meaoaf! Anything is better than their thin sickly colored ribeye. By all meananyway. Just don't waste your money om their Most expensive meal. The meat loaf or pot pie would out shine this piece of.... anyday.More

Really busy restaurant at noon. Ale house club has lots of meat, cheese and veggies but very little mayo or whatever was supposed to make it less dry. The coleslaw had no dressing what so ever. It was just shredded cabbage, carrots, etc. Not an...experience I will repeat.More

The house has started charging an extra 3% on your bill to tip out the cooks and bussers. Waitresses were expected to give most of their tips away by tipping out everybody in the house. And of course the prices go up frequently. The service...is decent. The food is good, but we’re at the point where we can’t afford to eat there anymore.More

This friendly restaurant has a little bit of everything. The menu caters to pub style foods but is expansive enough to suit almost every taste. They offer a wide variety of domestic, imported and in-house brews at reasonable prices. Service is fast and friendly with...seating outside in good weather or inside in several adjoining rooms around a large central bar. There are private nooks as well as areas for larger groups. It's a relaxed atmosphere, come as you are kinda place. Quality of the food is very good.More

Ale House has some great food and the service is always amazing. The servers always do a great job of keeping up with what you request from them. But the real highlight of Ale House is always the outdoor setting. It's always been a go-to...spot to enjoy a cold beer and sit outside on a warm day, or even a cool one if they have the snow globes out. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone from out of town looking for a spot to hang out and eat good food!More
