All reviews crab legs lobster sushi prime rib soups salad bread valley view dessert bar all you can eat the wait staff large variety american food full price on the small side casino array
Valley View Buffet is most probably the very best of buffets of all of the casinos. The quality of NY Steak lunch, or tender and melting prime rib and lobster for dinner can not be beat. Other casinos can learn from Valley View.

The lobster is great. The crab legs are pretty good. Overall it has a lot of variety in every section. If you go, go when you're hungry. It's a better buffet than all the other casinos in San Diego area so if you only can...go to one, this is a good one to pick.More
The restaurant offers a verity of food to choose from. Great sushi, the best I had in a long time. Service was ok. Lot of salads, different from other buffets that I visited. It is a good fare for the price paid.
This is the best buffet we have been to. The food selections are fantastic! The chefs created each dish perfectly.
If you love scrumptiously decadent desserts, you won't be disappointed with their huge array of confections (yum!).
The wait staff were all very pleasant and...attentive to our group.More
We went for lunch and you could taste the five stars! Everything was cooked to perfection-WOW! The luncheon selection was very nice, unique choices, and diversified. I cannot say enough good things about the deserts. Also, the wait staff were exceptional. I can’t wait to...go back for dinner and brunch.More
The selection of food was very good, I just felt that most food was only lukewarm. The lobster tails were on the small side, but they were very tasty. The salmon was a little on the dry side, but the crab salad which was made...with imitation crab was really very good. The salad bar didn't have any undressed romaine lettuce, they offered a premade Cesar salad. They had plenty of other seafood selections. The dessert bar had so much to choose from and even lots of sugar-free options. The servers were all working very hard. If you get a comped or discounted meal, it's definately worth it, if you have to pay full price, well for a big party, it can be very expensive.More
We arrived early for the buffet, at 2pm. The buffet started at 4pm. Trust me, well worth the wait. For $32.50, less if you have a membership, you can enjoy an enormous array of food. Huge salad selections, and varied types of bread and rolls. Mexican...dishes, Chinese entrees, prime rib, bbq ribs, sliced ham, lobster tails, sushi, cooked and raw shrimp, steamed mussels ect. And the desserts are endless. We have never seen such a terrific buffet.More

We didn't get it for free. We did get one buffet for free when we reached 100 points on our player card (which was not difficult - & we hardly qualify as "high rollers"). Regular price is $32.99 each, which is a little pricey for a buffet, but none of the food we ate had that "institution taste". It was actually one of the best buffets we've eaten at.
