We have seen Texas Roadhouse adds on tv but none of them were close to San Jose. We finally found out that there was one in Union City about 40 minutes from us. We decided to give it a try. It is not a place...for anyone with peanut allergies! We had tried another restaurant and had a bad experience. We were hopefully that we would not repeat the bad experience. It was just the opposite. It is Texas style. Everyone was friendly. The food was fantastic. Anthony our server was very attentive and helpful when we said it was our first time there. As I said Everything was so good. We didn't have one complaint. We will definitely go again. It does get busy so be prepared. Wish we had one closer to San JoseMore

We all 4 enjoyed our steaks at Union landing city. There’s huge menu and lot of dishes you can order. Also early dining for cheaper price. The backed potatoes are very nicely done. I found almost the same as other franchise.

Busy on the holidays; call ahead and the wait is about 20 minutes. Outside seating while you wait. Free peanuts while you wait for your food. Delicious prime rib, ribeye and tomahawk steaks. I have been coming to this location for 2 years now, and it never disappointed me! I highly recommend! The complementary buns always get me excited for the dinner! I usually get the ribs with a loaded baked potato and a house salad with honey...mustard dressing. So delicious, but so filling. The portions are huge and prices are reasonable for a steakhouse. The service is friendly and quick. I definitely recommend coming during the opening hours since it doesn't get too crowded. The dinners get very crowded and the wait can be long, especially for bigger parties. I think you can call ahead and put your name on the waitlist so you don't have to wait too long.More

We just love this place! Nothing fancy, but their steaks are awesome! Consistently. The portions are huge, so I always bring enough leftovers home for another meal or 2.
