I was told to try this place, so I did! Parking is hectic, as it is in a small mall with other stores. Once you conquer parking, a place to sit! This place has five televisions on one wall, music playing. This is a place...with tables and booths. A small ambiance of the south restaurants. Well, when something becomes available we are seated. The wait staff is on the move. They no sooner take your order, then, your food arrives. The jambalaya was interesting with mussels and okra, that we refused! The greens were pot licker with greens, more juice than greens. They were spicy hot with little strips of turkey neck. The catfish was cooked too fast, with no seasoning! I was quite disappointed in the meal. Now, I am from the south and I am very well aware of how foods are prepared, especially cajun style. Had the lobster roll with Cole slaw and an order of fried okra. The portions were fine, food was fresh, but the lobster roll was ruined by way too much dill in the mayonnaise. Completely overpowered the lobster, and the coleslaw had too much mayo...in it. The okra was tasty, when I took the breading off it. A certain spice in the breading was really odd flavored. A lobster roll should have minimal spices and mayo in it. The roll was correctly buttered. Just a disappointing visit since most reviews were good.More
We wouldn’t go anywhere else for fresh seafood!! The Cajun sauce is great in the buckets. The Shrimp Po Boys are great too! Never had a bad dish.
I've been a patron of BB since they first opened. The current owner, Han, took over what used to be a failed "Backyard Boiler". He remodeled and revamped the restaurant to the successful restaurant it is, today. When I first started coming here, I used...to only order the shrimp. However, after a waitress recommended I try their Crawfish, I was hooked! Their crawfish/crayfish are always fresh and they're huge!!! They're outsourced from a farm in Louisiana. The crayfish are sweet and meaty! Their Backyard Style sauce is my favorite, and since I'm not a "spicy" fan, I order it Mild. Mild still carries a bit of spice to it, but it's not unbearable. The amount of spice in the mild actually compliments the flavors of the seafood. The waitresses are always sweet and helpful and their house-made specialty cocktails are yummy!More

Easy ordering , fast service . We had our food in less then 15min. Good flavors , not amazing but we would come back . Easy family gathering spot.
