We were able to set outside. We were served very quickly. Hubs orders lunch, but I had the best breakfast burrito that I have ever had!! Love the Spanish sauce!

4 of us for breakfast, sat on the strand which is what sells this place. The service was slow and the drinks orders were mixed up as 3 people came to take them. The waitress was lovely, recognised her from Pollys on the Pier which...is sadly now closed. The toast never arrived, not really a problem but charging nearly 20 bucks for an omelette is steep. Go to the Cozy Cafe in Redondo instead. You may not get the view, but the food is so much better, and a third of the price!More

Beautiful setting on the seafront. Slow service. Huevos Rancheros was mediocre. Staff very pleasant but we felt their frustration with the slow pace of the kitchen. Cafe was quiet when we visited however we waited a long time to order and get our food. Automatic...placement of credit card fee on our bill when we had not indicated our interest in paying by card. Would not return unless for drinks, given its great location.More

We went to the Beach House Hotel for a brief getaway. The hotel only offered complimentary breakfast and needed a restaurant that served breakfast early, by 7 a.m. We went to Scottys which was the only one close to us and had a delicious pancake...and egg breakfast.More

Took a large party here the night before the wedding. A few of us (including me) were from the wast coast, and I was hosting the rest of the bridal party. We were properly set up, Orders were taken correctly, and food brought out in...an orderly manner. They did not have nay extra staff, but the place was not busy and 2 waitresses managed all 26 of us. They did know the time and size of the party ahead. All guests commented that they enjoyed the meals which were ordered off the menu. Would recommend this place. We had ample parking behind the place, free of charge.More

Stopped here as needed a coffee and saw it was right on the beach. Lovely setting right by the beach with view of the sea. Comfy booths and great staff. We ended up having garlic fries, french onion soup and iced coffees. Everything was delicious!...The menu had lots of choice and everything that came out looked great. Would highly recommend a visit here!More

One of the beach gems in downtown Hermosa Beach. Large menu to pick from. Have nightly specials also. One of the best people watching places, with the Strand right outside the large windows. Always have a great friendly wait staff. Prices are very reasonable for...almost everything on the menu. Food itself is very good. Seating area quite large if you have a big group. They have a small parking lot, but depending on when you go, parking could be challenging. A meal there for your family will be very reasonable cost wise, for very good food. Steps from the beach, and a great place to watch the sun set.More

Love Scotty’s on the Strand! Located right on the Strand and provides wonderful people watching. Also short walk to lots of touristy shops. And, of course, you are steps away from the beach. Food is great - very good clam chowder on Fridays.

Went there for breakfast on a Sunday morning. We were seated right away and our drink order was taken right away. Our waitress was nice and was intentive to our needs. Our food was delivered right away and it was very tasty. They servings are...very generous. I had their special, frisco omlette. It was very good and filling. We also ordered crab eggs benedict, breakfast burrito. All were very tasty and we would definitely order them again. The added bonus was our view was of the ocean and the beach. This would be a great place to see a sunset. I would highly recommend eating here.More

I live here in HB and regularly go to Scotty's for breakfast and lunch. Watching people walking and running by is fascinating. Yoga pants and bikinis everywhere. Lots of eye candy for everybody. The food is classic diner style with a hug menu of options....I love the club sandwich, the Chicken Piccata and burgers.More
