This was a great cafe. We went for breakfast it was about 7:45 am and the place was packed! We got a table right away though. It was good ol country cooking. Friendly service and atmosphere. The prices were reasonable as well.
Very good Breakfast menu. Their omelets are very good. They offer several varieties of toast, and Biscuits and White Gravy are some of the Best. Great Pancakes are huge.
I would definitely recommend for Breakfast
My wife and I drove to Mountain View one evening while in the area. We found the rainbow café on Tripadvisor and decided to have supper there. The café is a quaint restaurant right in downtown Mountain View. We both had the meatloaf special of...the night. The menu has several options on it that looked really good. They also have desserts available. We shared a slice of cherry cheesecake at the end. This is a great little hometown Cafe that we would recommendMore
This place is like going to Grandma's house for dinner! So most diners with a menu this big really only do five or six things really well. Not Rainbow! Look at their huge menu and literally pick ANYTHING! I promise you'll be pleased! Great place,...great food and great service!More
Small restaurant on Main Street with very simple interior and fabulous comfort food. My husband is not an adventuresome eater so planned to get his staple of a Rueben sandwich until he saw the specials for the day. All 3 looked good to him. He...decided on meatloaf (huge serving) mashed potatoes with gravy and green beans. I had the loaded potato soup, obviously homemade and chunky not blended, and a BLT. We finished the meal with a slice of Ozark Mountain pie, also homemade, which has coconut, chocolate chips, and walnuts. - recommend having it warm. I’m still drooling over the pie. Service was good and unhurried. They have a large selection of fun cookie jars for $20 each. They don’t take credit cards. Will definitely return.More
