This restaurant is located next to the Tagus River and was built in wood as is typical of the region. From here you can enjoy an excellent view of the river, the small boats, the stilt piers and the fishermen's houses.
It is a very pleasant restaurant that, without being luxurious, is welcoming and where care is taken with certain details, such as the tables set with cloth tablecloths and napkins. The friendliness of the owner and his collaborators is part of the spirit of the house. Regional food includes river fish, but there is also a huge range of other dishes. As for us, we had lunch of fried eel, fried flounder, alguidar meat and grilled pork secretions. Among the accompaniments, we highlight the crispy sliced fried potatoes. We also tried the partridge pie. Everything of excellent quality. The house wine in a jug was satisfying. It should also be noted that at the weekend there is a dessert buffet that has a fixed price/person. Repeat as long as you want.
As a final note, just mention that anyone who wants to come here for lunch would be better off booking a table as, on the Saturday in October that we went, it was sold out.
In short, the meal itself and its quality/price ratio were 5 stars, as was the surroundings of the place. We recommend it and will definitely be back.

Very well located restaurant, overlooking the river. Very friendly staff. Pheasant and partridge pie is simply divine. Excellent fried eel with naughty tomato rice. Pork secretions nothing special but the homemade fries, still hot, sliced were fantastic.

We arrived late for lunch, with the house full of groups. We were served very kindly and had a table by the window. The service was always timely and friendly.
For starters, a partridge pie, excellent, well cooked but with a juicy and tasty filling.
On this day there was an eel stew, which was spectacular. The eel was very tasty and the tomato and mint sauce deserved a whole loaf of bread! Very balanced and natural flavors. The house red wine accompanied the meal very well.
To finish, a dessert buffet (only available on Saturdays and Sundays), including Brisa do Liz, Pudding Abade de Riscos and thick chocolate mousse.

Very quiet place and no problems in the parking lot. Advisable the Reservation.
The lunch was really surprising by the positive - fries with tomato rice at the pinacle. Food prepared on time - while waiting, some fabulous squirts. Dessert - buffet.

Restaurant very well located, next to the riverside and with a privileged view of the surrounding nature. The food is very well prepared, I ate the eel stew, which was excellent, I tried the alguidar meat and the fried flounder with tomato rice, which was also very good.
The staff is very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend it. At the weekend, it is best to book well in advance.

Very tasty food, very beautiful place and excellent service.
The lagareiro cod dish is very well served. Desserts are self-service and the traditional sweets are great!
The view of the river is very pleasant too.
We promise to come back to try the Escaroupim steak!

I called to make a reservation for dinner two days later. It was 2:30 pm and the “nice” man who answered said:
You call me at this time… to make a reservation and in a whisper he said… f*ck this.

Very good food, desserts are immense and bufeet. The restaurant has an excellent location and a competent and friendly staff.
The decor is kind of rustic, but it compensates for everything else.
I had gone other times and do not disappoint, to the weekend I advise booking in advance. I will definitely come back.

This restaurant was interesting through its architectural form and its location. A bit off from other local activities, it brings a great taste of local food. A lots of way to prepare eel, and one great way to taste tomatoes which are grown in huge quantities in the area!
