Great place to visit with a lot of delicious choices. I tried the slow cooked beef and my boyfriend had the hamburguer and everything was great. Service is really good and it's a quiet place to relax and enjoy your meal. We paid 290 rands for both plates, a beverage and the cheesecake plus tips

We loved it here and stopped by for a light breakfast, with coffee and juices on two days that we were staying at The Protea Marriott hotel in Mossel Bay.
I can highly recommend it. Fresh, clean, brilliant choice of breakfasts, coffee, tea, smoothies, home made cakes etc. Really nice and great service at a good price.

We visited Carola Ann's with a group of friends a few weeks back. The moment we stepped into the restaurant we were greeted with warmth and friendliness. We had an elderly friend who needed wheelchair access. We were immediately shown this and then shown to our table which had been reserved in the courtyard garden area. The waiter was extremely attentive which made the evening most enjoyable. We so loved our food. I think it was the best butternut pasta I have ever eaten. A huge amount of laughter and friendship was shared. Everyone commented on their food as outstanding. The owner checked regularly on us. We retired to their little pub for a nightcap. I highly recommend anyone visiting Mossel Bay to make a reservation for a meal at this little gem.

Arrived into this little place with only one other couple inside. We’re welcomed with menus and then left for a considerable time as other people arrived and were served quickly (obviously locals). We finally ordered and the food and smoothies were excellent really tasty. There where three front of house staff and all stayed chatting to a couple at the back of the restaurant completely ignoring the rest of their customers. More and more customers arrived but watching the staff they all including ourselves were made to feel as an annoyance. The bill took forever to be able to ask for, arrive and then pay for ruining the entire experience. A real shame for what should have been a great lunch.

To be honest while I was reading your review, I thought they probably mistaken, they wrote about different restaurant, I been thinking who run such a horrible restaurant, then I remember we had a bit of quiet day and we had a chat with a food representative yesterday and we were talking about some food specials, (on the back of the restaurant, and you were right on the first table )however we have been in the industry for a respective time and we have the restaurant for almost five years, we will never treat our customers in such a terrible manners, but sometimes no matter what you do, some people find any thing to complain about.

I was quite disappointed at my first visit to this establishment, specifically as it does not live up to the rating on trip advisor. Coffee was OK (little cold but that’s on me) but we had to get up to scavenge our own sugar after a few minutes of being unable to get a waiters attention. The breakfast had definite highs and lows. Well prepared with delicious bread, but the nuts in the mince was a little too much (personal taste) and I had to ask the waiter if the mushrooms were canned or fresh and honestly - even though she said they were fresh - I was not convinced. One point for sugar, one for mushrooms and one because of the trip advisor rating - a lot of one review contributors.

Authentic, unique, outstanding. Owners and staff are exceptionally welcoming and make one feel very much at home. The Syrian and other Mediterranean influences make the food something to crave coming back for time and again. Beautiful sandstone building with original wooden finishes. Truly worth a visit!

I brought my repeat overseas clients, a family of 4 to the restarant for lunch at the end of our road trip along Garden Route as I read all the stunning reviews and the place was recommended by a friend of mine.
The waitresses were lovely, kids enjoyed tgeir milkshakes and adults the mezze starter. We ordered 3 fish meals and 2 burgers for the kids.
Burgers were good. But when the fish (hake) arrived, the smell wasnt right, when we tasted it, we realized the fish was off and returned it back to the kitchen. The waitress said the chef insists there is nothing wrong with the fish, we asked for the manager and politely explained that it does not smell or taste right , the manager agreed the smell was funny.
Then the chef came out and said she is the owner and that we dont know how the hake should taste and that she is not replacing it. The insulting attitude with wich she said it, the angry tone and the way she handled the situation was shocking. All we wanted to do is to leave the place and never to come back. Needless to say, being a tour operator/tour guide I will never recommend this place to any of my clients or colleagues after that.
None of us have ever experienced this shocking attidude in a restaurant before, where to our calm and polite remarks we were treated with such arrigance & indignation .

Not at all what you would expect to find on the main street of Mossed Bay. An authentic Middle Eastern restaurant with an imaginative ( if limited) menu. The ambience is warm and friendly, the service is efficient and helpful, the decor is homely and understated. What is exceptional is the cuisine - unusual combinations, thoughtful presentations, flavourful quite delicious tastes.
We even had the innovative bonus of a Xmas lunch in July - complete with Xmas stockings and music. Excellent value and deserving of many repeat visits.

Arrived a few minutes before 11 because we wanted to order breakfast but waited about 10 minutes at the door just to get someone to acknowledge our presence. Eventually had to shout into the kitchen to get someone’s attention, the owner came out and gave us menus that we took to our table. Waited another 10 minutes for a waiter to come to our table to whom we then explained that we would like to please enquire if we can still have breakfast and not the interim menu between breakfast and lunch (which only has 3 options, none of which seemed very appetizing). The waiter said he would go find out for us, 15 minutes later another waiter comes up asking for our order and we find out the previous waiter, instead of asking whether we can have the breakfast menu like he said, openly lied and said we weren’t ready to order yet and sent another waiter to take our order. Instead of apologizing for the first waiter’s unprofessional conduct the new waiter now argued with us that we did not arrive before 11 (but if she had seen us arriving why did we wait 10 minutes at the door before being helped was my question).
At this time it was 11:25 which meant it was even longer after the breakfast cut-off. We asked to speak to the manager/owner because we were local customers who visit on a weekly basis and expect better service.
After another 10 minutes where nothing happened we got up and left. The second waiter just stool in the door and watched us leave without an apology or any sort of attempt to rectify anything.

Corola Ann restaurant in Mossel Bay is a delightful dining experience. Arrived to a nearly empty restaurant, ordered a glass of wine and sparkling water. After trying the deep-fried pork filled cigar tapas starter, we decided to have dinner and chose the lamb shoulder and stuffed eggplant from a menu filled with mouth watering options. Both dishes were delectable and beautifully presented. The veranda setting provided a serene ambiance and the attentive waitstaff enhanced the dining experience. Kudos to the kitchen staff for their exceptional food. Overall, Corola Ann is highly recommended for its exceptional food, service, and ambiance

We have been here many years ago and loved Carola Ann’s. I am pleased to say it is still superb. New much more spacious restaurant in a great location gives the opportunity for outdoor dinning.
Do not hesitate to go here. It is simply the best and offers something different for breakfast that is tasty and nutritious. Great young couple who own and run it too.

If you are looking for an excellent restaurant quality food during lockdown, look no further
We ordered a ‘Greek Box’ for 2’ to eat at home.
The food was fresh, deliciously tasty and the quantity generous. A 3 course meal in a box. The price was around R500.00 and the value was worth way more.
We enjoyed it on our stoop, on a beautiful Mossel Bay afternoon with a bottle of Boplass red.
Corola Anne’s made our dinner special.

My husband, myself and our son had the pleasure to have lunch at Carola Anns during our stay in Mosselbay.
The restaurant boasts a charming and inviting upmarket ambience. The menu boasts interesting dishes and was reasonably priced. The wine list boasts an impressive list of excellent wines.
Between us we had the burger & chips, chicken ciabatta and quiche of the day. The quiche was accompanied by ‘n fresh beetroot and goat cheese salad which was delicious. The menu was reasonably priced in comparison to the exceptional quality of our meals.
Our waitress, Maggie was very friendly and professional.
We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and can highly recommend Carola Anns for a delicious meal.
The Chefs talent and passion was evident in every dish we had.

Very pleasant environment, you enter a building that seems to end 800 between fireplace and photos on the walls in black and white.
Each dish is served and presented with care and is always plentiful.
Extremely friendly service with the pleasure of satisfying the customer.
Among the things tasted the ostrich was very tender accompanied by a South African red wine that has nothing to envy to Italian wines.
Absolutely recommended and to date the best found in South Africa on our trip
