We arrived late in the evening after taking a chance on a small spot after we discovered the place we actually went to eat was no longer serving. On the off chance my friends and I asked this spot. Were they still open. It was almost closing time. We were welcomed warmly and seated and served straight away. We had starters and mains that were just devine. I had a Lebanese lamb starter and my friend had chicken wings. Both dishes were just delicious and well presented by nice staff. The mains were steak all round, served with a beautiful char and exactly the way we ask for them to be cooked. The food was both clean and delicious. I ccan highly recommended this spot and its easy on the wallet. I will definitely be going back the next time I'm in town. Had a wonderfully delicious meal! Well work a little visit!!!

The grillhouse is our favourite spot, the freshest food around. The seafood platter is our go to order, it never fails! The menu is well thought out and they also have specials on some days. Ibrahim and Mac are very attentive and service is always great even when they're really busy. The restaurant is byob so we get to enjoy our favourite bottle of wine while eating the best food in Dublin. We are foodies and always find ourselves comparing other fish platters we get in different places, nothing ever compares! Our seafood platter the other night in the pictures and we added half a lobster off the specials. Still thinking about it!

As an Irish lad familiar with Dublin's dining scene, I recently ventured into The Grill House Swords, and it was a grand experience altogether. Located in the bustling heart of Swords, this spot offers a delightful mix of hearty fare and a welcoming atmosphere. The moment you walk in, you're met with a warm "Céad míle fáilte" from the staff. The décor is a charming blend of rustic and modern, with wooden beams and cozy lighting that make you feel right at home. The menu is a real treat, with a range of dishes that cater to every taste. I started with the chicken wings, which were perfectly spiced and came with a tangy blue cheese dip. For the main course, I couldn’t resist the steak. Cooked to perfection, it was tender and full of flavour, complemented by a generous portion of crispy chips and a side of coleslaw.

I was recommended The Grill House by a friend,as I live nearby and had never before tried it. This must be the only restaurant in Swords which not only allows you to bring along your own alcohol (they do not sell alcohol, only soft drinks) but do not even charge you a corkage fee - happy days! I wish more restaurants would adopt this pleasing policy. Also, unlike a lot of other restaurants in the area, who post Covid won't even take bookings and expect you to come along and queue, this establishment took our booking over the phone no problem and advised of the Covid indoor and outdoor dining regulations. We were greeted on arrival by welcoming and friendly staff, who checked our Covid vaccine certs and photo IDs and then seated us inside,as it was lashing rain. The décor is rustic, with a middle eastern vibe, reflecting the theme and food of the restaurant. The menu is extensive and everything looked so delicious that we had problems narrowing it down to what we wanted. We eventually (and greedily!!) opted for 4 starters and a mixed grill for 2 for a main (there were 2 of us). We had stuffed vine leaves, calamari, falafel and chicken wings for starters, all which were absolutely delicious,as was the mixed grill. The flavours, marinades and spices were sublime. Even the flatbread and rice which came with the mixed grill tasted fresh and home made. The staff here are top notch, professional, polite and friendly and I cannot wait to go here again.

The hospitality and the food are top notch. We stopped here for dinner before our flight, I wished I lived nearby so I could come back again and again. Extremely accommodating and knowledgeable about gluten free food. All of our dishes were made fresh and full of flavor.

My friend and I popped into the Grill House while traveling from Dublin and it was easily the best meal either of us had on the entire trip! We both eat a fair amount of Mediterranean/Lebanese food so when I say this was the best garlic sauce we've maybe ever had, it's a big statement. The moutabal appetizer dip was so good we were literally licking the plate! When our waiter noticed, he very kindly brought us over more free of charge! I had the lamb shawarma and it was seasoned to perfection! My friend is vegetarian (most of the time) and was able to find many options but settled on the vegetarian platter- everything on there was divine! We ended up ordering more food to go in case we got hungry later. Don't miss out on this gem right by Swords Castle!

There is no alcohol so bring your own. The chef got a little fractious over us trying to keep our wine cold with ice, but it wasn’t a great problem once we were given a cooler. Food wise, we had kebbeh, kofta and mixed grill. All excellent, very nice.

The Grill House, is possibly the best restaurant to eat at in Swords. From friendly staff to tasty food the place has it all, we came here for our anniversary and we were not disappointed. I have also been here a couple times before and it has always been such a lovely experience. I always look forward to coming here, and its BYOB which is such a nice touch. I highly recommend the salmon, or the Chicken Shish Tawook also the Hummus and the moutabal are delicious!! but I'm sure no matter what you order here you won't be disappointed.

You are made to feel so welcome. Lots of vegetarian and vegan with a Middle Eastern vibe on the menu but there is regular steak and chicken for the less adventurous. Bring your own wine. Very good value for great food in a simple setting. We had such a lovely night.

I ordered a pick up on Saturday evening 17th April. I ordered 6 starters for two people as we were not overly hungry and wanted a selection of different things. I went down at the allocate time to pick up the order but had to wait 15 minutes for it to be ready. When I got home one of the starters one of the breads and "the free desert" were not in the bag! Their falafel were just about edible would make better myself! The others were average..... would NOT order again

When myself and my partner are in the mood for a takeaway, we always visit The Grill House. We're both vegetarian and the amount of dishes available for us is amazing; the food is always freshly cooked and prepared in front of you, which is delightful. The staff are also wonderful; I'm not sure what the manager/owner's name is, but I'm greeted with a smile and a "How are you?" every time I come in to collect the food. They're also giving out a small pot of free deserts at the moment, that's just the kind of restaurant they are: always looking for ways to make their customers happy! I can personally say that the falafel wrap is one of the nicest I've ever had and my partner loves their moussaka! It's the #1 restaurant in Swords for a reason!!

This is defo theee Best Lebanese / ME food in Ireland! Falafels are the gold standard - crunchy on the outside with a soft flavoursome chick pea inside. Could easily have eaten a mountain of them. The home made flat bread is so fresh, not too doughy either. Just perfect. Grilled marinated meats served on skewers hanging from a hook, all very authentic and fun. efficient and friendly, laid back atmosphere. Other dishes looked amazing as they came out from the kitchen - grilled seafood, marinated lamb chops. Shawarma and authentic salads. It’s BYO and they don’t charge corkage fee! Worth the visit for sure and then some more!

Craving Middle Eastern food and didn’t have time to venture to Shouk, so tried this place. We had chicken shawarmas-kids liked the sweet potato fries and calamari. Fatoush salad passed, but wasn’t the best one I’ve ever had. The shawarmas let themselves down because the bread was store bought. I didn’t even eat it! The chicken was also over cooked. Maybe we should have tried the “specials”, which included crab claws. The bread let the place down so much that I didn’t even attempt to try the baclava, as I was afraid it wouldn’t be homemade either. The waiter was very friendly and gave the kids lollipops. The decor is lovely too and gives a nice ambience if you want to transport yourself to the Middle East for an hour!

I ate here with 2 friends, we ordered starters to share as it’s a great way to taste a variety of different dishes . We had the crab cla s, scallops, calamari, chips, salad and hummus . Everything is made on the premises and is so delicious and tasty. The restaurant is homely and the staff are so friendly and helpful, I’m glad I finally got to eat here and will definitely be back.
