Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This place was recommended to us after a few disappointing dining experiences in Samoa. It's close to Lalomanu Beach and there is nothing else in the area after a swim at Vavau Beach. It is reasonably upmarket but the staff is very relaxed and friendly....We were first put off by the prices on the menu, most meals around 45-60T but decided to stay as didn't want to drive elsewhere. Once the meals arrived they were huge! We had trouble finishing the 2 carbonaras, took a large piece of chicken home and our very hungry teen was full to the rim! We decided to come back again a few days later. The service was lovely, some staff more experienced than others but the setting is beautiful too. Happy hour until 6pm, with 3T off drinks. if anything, the menu could have been a bit more variety but since everything has to be brought there, we can understand the limit of choices.More

We popped in for lunch. I had the steak sandwich and fries and my husband had the fish burger. Both meals were great. The restaurant looked clean and fresh and had a great view. The service was very attentive and friendly.

Back at FaoFao beach and still coming to Aga Reef Resort for lunches. Nice food, friendly staff, and good prices. Always reasonably quiet and a nice outlook over the water.

Aga Reef is quite a trek from the CBD/airport but it is sure worth it! An immaculate resort with stunning surroundings, the rooms are spacious with great balconies, very clean facilities and really makes the experience memorable. Let's not forget that the rooms have powerful...but quiet air con units (seasoned travellers will know the world of difference a quiet AC unit makes) and of course the staff are very friendly and helpful in assisting with luggages and all additional requirements. Breakfast is included in the room rate, so be sure to make use of the delicious fresh fruit and the 10/10 scrambled eggs (they were the best out of all the places I had breakfast at during my 2 week stay).More

Somewhere so beautiful shouldnt be only for the tourists. As a local this is my favorite place to go when needing to get away for the weekend. Their rooms are beautiful overlooking the water and the beds are so comfortable i actually looked under the...covers to find the brand so I can get one lol. The island night buffet was delicious and you are spoilt for choice from fresh raw fish oka to roasted tender pork... my favs. The island fiafia night I thought would be the same as every other hotel but wasn't. It was so hilarious and informative of our culture. An experience you'll not easily forget 🌺More

If you are looking for a holiday destination to get away from the stresses of life, and avoid the hyped up touristy-type locations, look no further. Samoa is beautiful beyond belief and Aga Reef Resort is a hidden gem. The resort owners are very friendly,...welcoming and relaxed, as are the staff. The rooms are lovely, beds are like clouds, and the restaurant food is delicious, with an extensive menu to suit most tastes. And the pristine location is absolutely stunning. Things to bring: * your own snorkelling gear, reef shoes (the fringing reef at the resort is easily accessible and sheltered in different weather conditions) *books, magazines to read (swim, snorkel, read, relax...repeat!!)More

We were staying up the road at FaoFao beach, but came here for lunch a couple of times. Service was really friendly and the food was great. My friend has the steak sandwich and still raves about it. I stuck with the fish and chips...which...totally hit the spot with a nice beer.More

I must say I disappointed in this restaurant this time around. Menu didn’t have a great selection. Food took for ever and it was tasteless and expensive. A shame really because a few years back it was great.

We stopped here on our son's birthday for a snack after we had been over to Namua Island snorkelling. We were worried that we didn't fit the dress code but were welcomed in. The service was fantastic and the food delicious. It looked like it...would be a gorgeous location to stay.More

Nothing like what was describe in the Travel books, the tropical breakfast is a joke one third of the choice offered. I only visited the hotel for lunch, but it is in a beautiful location and the food was very good, with pleasant service. Some of the rooms are on a man made peninsula and the location is very attractive, with a small infinity pool and...a beach next door.More
