Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Not bad if your after a cheap tasty curry. Went here with our Work Group and we each enjoyed our meals. Aussie dollar to the Samoan Tala is double so it works out to be a very cheap meal. Had the chicken curry, popadoms and...also the naan bread. Not bad for what you pay. Will be back on next visit to Samoa.....More

I am perplexed to see the good reviews this restaurant is getting because I have never had such a horrible lunch in my life. The curries had no salt, was not spicy nor did it have the taste it was supposed to have. I was...told this is the best Indian restaurant in Samoa, as an Indian I can tell you it is absolutely rubbish! I would not recommend eating here.More

Recommended by locals as the best Indian food in town. It did not disappoint. It is a little off the beaten track though still in Apia. The decor in the restaurant is different shades of purple with a mural on the wall. The food is...really good and great prices. We had butter chicken, homemade samoas, naan, rice, cucumber raita, coupled with red wine. The butter chicken we would rate as one of the best we have ever had. All delicious and well presented. This restaurant is very clean. Surprised to see no tourists there, only locals. If you love Indian food, you can’t go past this place.More

We came here for lunch after a day of swimming and needed some nourishment. The food was amazing and the waitress was friendly. This was the best meal we had in Samoa and wish we were here longer only so we could go back and...eat here again! Highly recommend this place :)More

Amazing food and really great value for money. Big portions and delicious. Definitely worth making the trip into Apia for as it blew the resort food out the water. Staff were friendly and welcoming even though we arrived just before they were about to close....Would absolutely revisit!More

The food here is amazing! We ate here for lunch and had butter chicken & vindaloo. Both were delicious. The garlic naan is amazing!! Indian food to the same standard as a high quality Indian restaurant in Australia.

My wife and I found this place via tripadvisor and based on good reviews we went there for lunch . I had chicken Korma (mild) and my wife had lamb Saagwala (medium). Both meals were served in small bowls and were excellent-great taste. However, the...chicken cost an extra 5 tala to be boneless and rice is an extra. All up the cost was about 60 Tala including garlic naan bread. What was disappointing was to see their ad for a girl to work 42 hours a week (six days) for $120.00 tala (about 70 NZD a week) Thats the equivalent of about 2-3 meals. Even allowing for a cheaper cost of living compared to NZ that's a very poor wage.More

I go there once or twice a week and always a great meal! Their butter chicken and fish curry is to kill for! Incredible Dhal and Naan.....Service very, very good and friendly and the one thing I love that sets them apart from a lot...of other restaurants is the cleanliness! Super clean... the food has a fresh taste and the second good thing is the consistency....if you order your favorite dish, it tastes the same as the last time.....so 2 thumbs up for Tifaimoana! A wonderful dining experience in Samoa....BrunoMore

The Indian food is outstanding, better than South Melbourne. We always go to this restaurant when we are in Samoa. The quality is always consistent and the value for money is exceptional. Highly recommended.

We went to this restaurant in 2016 on our first visit to Samoa and went again this year. Nothing changed except for their location. Their food is still super yummy and delicious till today. The servings are beyond excellent and the prices are affordable.

This restaurant is in the CBD but tucked away from the main road. The restaurant is clean and air conditioned for comfort with ample parking. We usually dine here at least twice a month and recently took my brother and his wife for the first...time who are avid Indian curry people and they loved it and said that it is the best they have had in Samoa. Our normal order is butter chicken and garlic nan. It is good value for money and the servings are decent where my wife and I share one order. Worth a try if you like Indian food but I must confess I have never been to India so don't know if it is authentic tasting but I do know that it tastes great to us!More

Menu looks great. The reality was horrible. Should have known it would be bad as there was no spice smell in the restaurant. Food arrived in about 5 minutes of ordering. Basically the same sauce appears to be poured over different ingredients and microwaved. It...was bitter and inedible. I have no idea how this place gets such a high rating. Steer well clear.More

It's been quite a while since I've left a restaurant feeling bloated but I did tonight. I had the Chicken Masala and it was a very generous portion, and despite my best effort I just couldn't stop eating - it was so good. Even though...the restaurant was quite full I was served surprisingly quickly. Service was good and the price was very reasonable.More
