Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Unfortunately I happened to stay at the Samoa Sheraton in Apia just on the two days (Monday and Tuesday), when their 'Aggie Grey Restaurant' is closed, so I had to put up with their 'Feast Restaurant'. On the first evening I went out for dinner...to a very nice restaurant by the sea, but on the second evening I stayed here, since I had to get up in the middle of the night for my early flight. The 'Feast' restaurant is also the place, where one goes for breakfast. There is a buffet with quite a big choice in cold items, especially also fruit. A lady prepares fresh eggs to order. Coffee and Tea get served at the table, but the staff didn't seem to be very motivated in doing a good job, preferring to hang around together, chatting and making jokes instead of taking care of their guests. It wasn't any better for dinner, although the lady, who welcomed me, was quite funny, especially, when she always adressed me as 'my friend', probably being hardly older than my granddaughter. Unfortunately she disappeared after bringing me a complimentary starter, which I enjoyed: Taro Chips with that typical and very tasty Samoan dip 'Palusami'. To drink I had a whole coconut with a straw. Since I went quite early, only very few tables were occupied. At the back there was the same live music as at breakfast. As a starter I ordered a Papaya Salad, but which didn't have much to do with the one's I knew from Laos and Thailand. It had more carrots, cucumber and long beans in it than raw green papaw. It was quite spicy due to plenty of red chili flakes. For main course I went for a 'Beef Rib Eye'. I was asked how I wanted it done and then one could select the sides: French Fries or Mashed Potatoes, then Vegetables or Salad. It came pretty fast. Since the cutlery had been taken away with my starter plate, I had to get up to find a fork and knife from a nearby set table. Since the meat was too tough and since there was no staff around anymore, I had to walk towards the kitchen and ask for a steak knife, which they had, but - as they told me - had forgotten to bring.More

They have enough variety that we had no problem some days having all three meals at the hotel. Thursday night is their feast night with entertainment and a large buffet that is pretty good value. They also prepared a cake for my daughters 21st and...helped add a bit of colour to her day. The staff are super friendly and all the meals we had were really nice so can't fault it on that score. Drinks are probably a little expensive compared to alternative places but you expect that at a Hotel.More

The environment at Feast is very welcoming but the food is average. The buffet breakfast offers good variety however the dinner menu is underwhelming.

We had dishes which we shared. The Oka in coconut cream was delicious and we also had rice paper rolls which were yummy as well. The beef strips (entree) was exceptional. Good service. Nice atmosphere.

We stayed here for 2 weeks, the breakfasts were lovely, and the staff absolutely wonderful. The fact that the restaurant is right next to the pool and the gardens are so beautiful, make for a wonderful experience.

We had dinner once here and found that the food to be nothing special, fairly average with a Sheraton price tag. The service was a bit slow the night we were there so we were not impressed at all.

We stopped in for dinner one evening for a change of scenery and cuisine from our regular accommodation. We were pleasantly surprised by the vast array of food on offer. The meals we all ordered were delicious and arrived quite quickly and at a very...reasonable price. Would definitely recommend dining here.More

Ive been here twice since the new renovation by Sheraton. The rooms are beautiful, the staff is still friendly, but the food is still the same, not much change that i would expect from the Sheraton as a Platinum member. I hope the food choices...will change or have more taste. Overall, good for the tourist but for the locals it needs more flavor. Great place to entertain and meet other people.More

The highlight of my stays (as far as culinary is concern) last December 2017 and January this year (2018) has been the breakfast. The cost is about $65 and it is sometimes included in the cost of the rooms. The Feast Restaurant is aptly named...as breakfast for me each morning is a feast, and would last me the whole day. There is a variety of food including porridge, bacon, sausages, eggs (cooked to your liking) ham, chicken etc...etc..etc...and the variety of different bread, cakes and savouries, with fruit drinks including coconut juice, and local organic fruits galore - pawpaws, mangoes, avocado, pineapples etc...yummmmmm...And when your eating by the pool side...that makes it perfectl. But the highlight of my morning brekky is the chat with the staff - catching up on the local news and the latest gossips which varies from politics, sports, religion, and world affairs, to where you can get a good bargain for souvenirs. The friendly smiles and great service by the staff rounds off the best part of my day.More

very relaxed poolside restaurant at Sheraton Aggie Greys. Lots of options from local fare through to more western style and prices are quite reasonable. Bar service and incredible Samoan hospitality. Live music from time to time and good for families. Very relaxed.

Unfirtunately Sheraton Aggie Bungalows where the Feast Restaurant is locatted is closed for repairs. Check with Hotel when they will be open. If it;s open, you don't need booking you just walk in and pay at the hotel,
