Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The food was exceptional and the staff were the best. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Apia and we will definitely stay again when we return to this beautiful country one day.

We were staying in a very nice Bungalow at This hotel and decided to have a fine dining experience in the Aggie Greys Restaurant. The offering was a degustation menu and it was brilliant. Each course offered was exquisite and we enjoyed the whole menu....We appreciated the chef coming to speak with us , and the suggested wines. Truly a memorable meal, thankyouMore

Had a nice quite business meeting here, it was spacious so you can have that little corner just to talk about private matters. Food and service both lovely, nice selection of sweets and treats to choose from.

We had a late lunch in the large fale, with a wind so strong that it actually blew the cutlery off the tables. There was only ONE other group of guests in the restaurant, consisting of two adults and two children. We arrived before them,...and ordered some eggs, bacon, and sausages, and two orange juices. After waiting for over twenty minutes, and watching the family who arrived AFTER US being served, I went to ask our waitress (one of five or six), where our lunches were. They finally appeared, a few minutes later. No apology for the tardiness. The bacon was of poor quality. The scrambled eggs and sausages were adequate. The juice tasted of chemicals more than of oranges. We will not return.More

What a beautiful renovation has been done on this hotel. Reminiscent of old time chic and glamour. Good size quiet rooms and staff, especially housekeeping, accommodating.

Enjoyed the fiafia night, good to see Dominic still a part of the show. Little sad when the girls danced on their own their music was not live. The buffet wasn't what I remembered, the food was too westernised I thought. The only authentic Samoan...food was the oka. Breadfruit was in season and there was none on the menu. My neice requested ice cream for dessert it was a good 20mins when it was finally served. Disappointed and really really sad there is a casinoMore

We walked into Aggie grey’s hoping they would have a coffee shop & air con after our big day trekking around! The staff were lovely, the food amazing & they were happy for us to wait in their lounge area until our transfer arrived. I...can’t thank you enough as we were exhausted by the time we got there! 😊More

Popped in for lunch as not many options in Apia itself. Lovely hotel, ambience is excellent. Food was average - but then maybe that was our choice. I had a curry which wasn't spicy and a bit runny, my husband had a burger which was...standard. Service was very good. Overall I would visit again as a pleasant place to have lunch.More

Very colonial now, lost the historic look of what it was previously which is very disappointing. Coffee was lukewarm but had a nice flavour.

Best hotel experience ever. Rooms were great and very clean. Staff were fantastic and service second to none. Put on a FiaFia night with traditional dancing and singing. Drinks were reasonable and beer was always cold. Only downside was receptioned stuffed up bill and overcharged...me but it got sorted eventually. Would thoroughly recommend staying here.More

It is the staff who make your stay at the Aggie Grey’s Sheraton hotel in Apia so memorable. Without them you would not have the warmth and friendliness of the true Samoan experience. A modern hotel with a nice atmosphere and truely helpful staff who...go above and beyond to make your time staying there enjoyable. Fiafia night a nice touch of cultural experience, with fire dancing.More

No, I did do some hand washing but it was easier to use the hotel laundry service which was reasonably priced and very well done.
