We are an eclectic art cafe featuring excellent coffee and an extensive menu of food from around the world including pasta dishes, fresh trout, curries, Mexican dishes, fresh juices and smoothies and delicious desserts. The space is a comfortable place to kick back and relax, with a lending library and fireplace. Open from noon to 10:15 pm, 7 days a week.

Casa Hood is a super cozy restaurant with fresh home made vegetarian food and more.
It really feels like home with a beautiful open fire in the dining room and shelfs with books! The waiter Naim was so kind to make me a special drink at my request and to seggest me the best dishes without trying to sell me the most expensive thing on the menu...
But most importantly he and the other members of the staff would let me stay a little bit longer after closure (while they finish cleaning) cause I hade my bus at midnight and they did not want me to wait at the busstation!!!
Wonderful place and wonder people!!!

We visited for dinner. The food is delicious and they have a good selection of craft beers. It’s a really cosy restaurant with bookshelves, candlelit tables and a fireplace - perfect for a rainy evening! The staff were friendly and helpful.

Excellent restaurant and service.
I ate the T-bone menu there.
A great choice. A generous T-bone steak, excelllent medium baked
and very well seasoned.
Served with well-baked fries and a salad. Very good.

I live on the coast in Ecuador where ethnic food is hard to find. Was really excited to try the falafel plate, as Mediterranean is my favorite. It looked beautiful when it arrived. Unfortunately every single item on the plate was overly salty. Any other flavor was drowned out. A heavy hand with the salt is common in Ecuador, but I was sad to find it here. Maybe the chef was having an off day. The cold ginger tea was refreshing, however.

It's the perfect place if you're looking for a quality dinner for not that much money. They do plenty of food, from local to Mexican, including vegetarian/vegan options. Good burritos, ok pastas and dessert. Friendly service and cuenta. Perfect for a cheap eat, lunch or dinner!
Also the place itself is pretty cool and cosy!

Honestly, I wanted to like this place, the menu offers a nice diversity and the location is good. However, the staff wasn’t very helpful, and the service was slow. I got a burrito which was tasty, but then I had indigestion for the rest of the day which wasn’t so fun. There’s better spots around, would not recommend this place.

I had a falafel sandwich with the Super C juice drink. There are books and magazines to peruse as well as fast WiFi. It looks like they might light up a fire in the fireplace on colder days.

Wow is all I can really say . . . Juan Carlos was my server both times I've eaten here and he didn't miss a beat! Impeccable service! Friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, helpful and clean. The food is fresh and high quality. Delicious you guys . . . You must experience this place and all it has to offer. Cozy atmosphere with a view of the massive mountains, library for reading material . . Love this sweet spot.

This is a nice little restaurant with a great atmosphere. Great for couples and small groups to enjoy some time together and have a great meal as well. The service was great and Silvia was very courteous and helpful. If you are in the area I highly recommend trying this restaurant.

The meat lasagna of this place is very delicious the super refreshing C and with the attention of Juan Carlos who was very attentive with us, everything was excellent, if you are in Baños visit it recommended place.

Really nice food and great service in a cute little place on one of Banos’ main streets. The Thai green curry is really delicious if you are looking to branch out from traditional Ecuadorean / South America food

Super yummy and healthy! Ate here 3 times. Very well priced and lovely staff. Juan served us every time and was very accommodating; he let us keep our backpacks in the restaurant while we waited for the bus. Thanks Juan :)
