Food was gorgeous and really good value for money. I had the chicken in tomato sauce with mozzarella and everything tasted fresh. Service was very good and efficient.

Very good food, but service too slow

Although the waiter was informing each 10 minutes that our food was coming in 5 minutes, the food was really good! Unfortunately that the speed of kitchen and service was too slow! One of the largest menus I have ever seen.

Best restaurant of Bahia Blanca

I've been there almost all week because I think that it's the best restaurant of the city. It has a very interesting menu, the food is great and the service as well

Service was polite but slow. The dinner was nothing to report home about. The lomo was tasteless and poorly cooked, the ravioli had nothing to do with italian ravioli. They were sticky and did not taste very well. Overall it was disappointing.

Good restaurant!

It is hard to believe but there are quite few good restaurant at Bahia Blanca. This is one of the top 3 ones. In general, you can try all of the menu. I ordered a ceviche, but regrettable it was not available. I tried a grilled salmon, which was quite good.

Good food, poor service

We went for dinner on a Tuesday, and 'only' two waiters were taking care of the entire restaurant (while spending almost half the time inside the kitchen). The entrees, interesting variations on traditional Italian dishes, arrived promptly, since there were few people still, but by the time we had finished there were 8 full tables already and it looked like it was too much for the two waiters to manage. We spent, in all, over three hours inside, of which less than one was actual eating. While this might be desirable for a romantic couple, it must definitely is not in most other occasions. They also tried to overcharge us, to boot, claiming that the prices on the English menu were outdated.

#1 does not allow some issues

I've been for dinner to this restaurant known as #1 in Bahia. The place is really cute, very good music, and the environment is nice. The appetizer was excellent (jumbo grilled shrimps) The entree was the issue. I've asked for a grilled salmon with vegetables. As you expect at this kind of restaurants the waiter asked me about the way I'd like my salmon, and I asked for a juicy salmon, just quick grilled in both sides but juicy inside. I received an overcooked piece of salmon, dry. it's a sin for a good chef make that with the salmon. The vegetables were crude. When the waiter asked me about the food, I told him, and he applogied for that, so the service I need to say that was very good. Anyway, I cannot forgive the sin of the overcooked salmon. Pastas seem to be the strength of this restaurant. Next time I'll check it.

Good place to have a dinner, but nothing special

Once in Bahia Blanca and have two or more days to spend there, it should be visited. It is a nice place, they serve a good dinner but the price do not justified. Specially if you are from a huge city like Sao Paulo where there are a lots of good italian restaurants. The price is to high to locals and also to Sao Paulo or New York, definitely it is a place to unaware travelers.

Typical Argentinean restaurant - excellent meat, friendly staff. I can definitely recommend it. A very nice ambiance too.

Good food once you absorb the massive menu

This restaurant has great potential. Reasonable food, great look and ambience, great service. It has it all. However, the menu is enormous. I asked the waiter if the owner was the chef and he said 'No'. There is no way that any decent chef can keep up with producing this ridiculous menu. It took me 10 minutes to read through the menu, then another 10 minutes to re-read it and decide what to have. The food is good, but please 'Keep It Simple, Stupid'. I'm sure the food could be even better, if the chef didn't have to deal with this crazy menu.

Ambitious menu but average food

+ very atmospheric setting + proffesional staff, good English + good wine list - the menu is HUGE - but the food average - chickenrisotto was dry and salty, and had little taste - grilled chicken chicken with lemon was exactly that: a piece of grilled chicken with a slice of lemon on top....

Great New Year's Eve dinner

We were traveling and we welcomed the new year at Pavarotti with a very good menu, service, music, party favors and the place is very nice. Grateful for the moment given.
