Amazing food, service, and wine selection. Everything here is fantastic! Can't wait to go back again and enjoy the best asado I've ever had!

The meat is of high quality, the grilling is as ordered, and the wine list has a good selection of Malbecs by the glass - I'm happy :-) Despite of a nice salad with figs, it's not really a place for vegetarians ;)

This restaurant worths everything! If you visit Don Julio, you'll be part of an unforgettable experience. From the music to the service, the broad Argentinian menu and the quality of the meal will catch your heart. It is set up as a typical and antique...local barbeque, which drives you through a delicious variety of original flavors I strongly recommend Don Julio, it is the perfect place to celebrate special occasions and feel like you are part of the royal family.More

Our server, David was incredibly helpful and gave us outstanding suggestions. The tables were distanced, servers wore masks and there was hand gel at each table.

I am German living for some years in Buenos Aires knowing a lot of meat places including making often barbecue myself, but this is the best place where I ate meat I ever have been. I bought a week ago a "Entrecoute" (Rib eye, ojo...de bife) at the Don Julio butcher (yes, they grow their own meat and sell it; the majority of the meat sold in BsAs is not from cattle living on open land, like in former times, they meanwhile grow their cattle quick in small stables like in the most places in the world, no difference; but Don Julio ist growing his own cattle on open land like the ancestors before did making the difference), half a block away from the restaurant. And here I felt already a big difference ..... the meat correctly aged, very tender and tasteful. In the restaurant yesterday we had a "bife ancho" and a "vacio", easily sufficient for 3 persons, there were even half a vacio left over that I took with me at home. The meat at the restaurant spectacular and exactly prepared as wanted (jugoso) which is very seldom even at the meat capital Buenos Aires. The termination you get in the most restaurants is lottery, not so at Don Julio. Exactly like ordered. The left overs I heated in the evening, put some salt over it and ...... it was still delicious ...... . Overall: an excellent experience. If someone wants an extraordinary meat experience .... Dpon Julio is the place. Rainer from Germany!More
