We felt very warm and welcome here. Their freshly baked vanilla and strawberry muffins were to die for and home made ice tea was fantastic. The kids enjoyed watching and feeding the fish

What a wonderful place. On the way to Hoedspruit easy access. Staff are friendly. Food is excellent. We all ate the mild chicken livers the BEST.

I stopped here by chance and was delighted with the rare fillet and veg. One of the best I have had at a very reasonable price. Recommend stop over !

Nice stop off for lunch, would recommend , unfortunately they did not have the wood fired pizzas but the chicken schnitzel I ordered was absolutely delicious and my husband enjoyed his burger.

Excellent burgers and part of the money goes to conserve the Wild Dog. Thee are also some interesting shops nearby. Well worth a stop

This was a chance find on our way to Hoedspruit It was lovely place to stop for our breakfast and coffee. The staff were friendly the food very good. The ambience was wonderful so full of African character.

We were attracted by the environment, which was very pleasant. The outside veranda is nicely decorated and very relaxing. We ate a trout which was a little too dry. Next to the restaurant is a large crafts shop, where we unfortunately did not find anything to our taste.

We found this place by accident and pleasantly impressed. The staff were friendly and service superb. The food was served promptly and delivered hot to the table. We really enjoyed interacting with the employees and bought some of the homemade foods from the stall (including hot off the coals "rooster brood").

We had a short stopover to drink some coffee and have some food.
Staff was very friendly, cake a trout burger as well but avoid the coffee. It’s not “real” coffee just from ready made powder or capsules

Stopped here on my way back to Johannesburg to pick up some food, staff were sour and unfriendly, and not too keen to be helpful. Ordered a pizza and a milkshake. The take away milk shake was tiny, and the pizza was covered in cheese, that nothing else was visible on it. On tasting it, it was completely tasteless, and gave me the worst stomach cramps I have had in a long time.
Definitely not going to stop there again...

We dropped in for lunch while on the road. Surprisingly good food with quite an extensive menu. We quite enjoyed the food although the distance from “anywhere” seemed to effect the freshness a bit. Staff were lovely and attentive.
We would drop in again.

what a delightful surprise! right next to the road you will not be sorry for stopping here. Not a large menu but enough for everyone to choose something. Service fast and waiters very friendly. Home made bread baked and a nice curio shop just next door. Be sure to make a stop next time you are in the area.
