The Mnuw is the most unique restaurant and bar in Micronesia if not the world. She is a 170ft (55m) Phinisi schooner from Indonesia with 3 dining decks, 2 bars and her kitchen all on board. Start your day with a gorgeous sunrise during breakfast. Or, unwind after a full day of activities with a cold beer or tropical beverage while swapping sea stories.

You are almost guaranteed to end up here at some point during your stay on Yap. It’s worth it for at least one meal or an evening drink. Super extensive menu and ok food taste. Friendly staff and a super unique setting. If you are traveling alone and want to connect with others then head here and enjoy.

When visiting Yap this restaurant/bar at the Manta Ray Bay Resort & Yap Divers is the place to go. Beautiful ambiance as the restaurant is a converted Indonesian phinisi wooden sailing boat. Do not miss it!!!

This is part of the manta ray beach resort. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is fresh and tasty. They brew their own beer too which is quite good.

Sitting on deck of an old wooden boat with a soft breeze from the ocean - you couldn't think of a better location. The menu has a lot to offer, fish, meat and even pizza. On Thursdays they have a special menu like land crab. Unfortunately I had a lot of stomach irritations where we couldn't figure out why. But the food is good and the beer excellent. (So I decided to drink the little I used to eat in the evening)

The hotel next door serves their buffet breakfast on the lower level of this novelty restaurant with other meals served on the upper levels. My wife and I had lunch at 2:30PM on the 2nd level ordering 2 grilled fish sandwiches, one with french fries and the other with coleslaw. The fish was excellent but was smothered in mayonnaise/tartar sauce as was my coleslaw.
Unique atmosphere with excellent water views and even some recovered Yap Money on the bow.

We were here at the same owned Manta ray resort. The food had less choice. Service was good and prompt. Taste too was ok. The atmosphere is superb as inside and top of an old dhow ship. That was the best part.

this is my fourth time in yap island for work (minimum stay 14days per trip).... Yap is an island, so MNUW is a respite from island life... they brew their own beer , go for the 2 step berr,( a big plus), prices are a bit expensive so locals avoid this resort/ reataurant... the boat/ bar us really nice touch as it is windy on the upper deck and offers a great view of the bay... bar tenders are very friendly and doesnt forget customer's names....

That's were you go after diving for their home brew. My guy liked the 2 Step. Pizza is tasty! Breakfast buffet every morning was nice.

I have eaten here multiple times. I enjoy that they brew their own beer. Typically I go after diving or I’ve met a friend for lunch. I enjoyed the fish sandwich and fries. Also have had the fish burrito. (These are small. I find 2 make a meal.) They also do pizza with a whole in the center mimicking stone money. It is okay. The setting of a ship adds to the ambiance. I haven’t gone in the evenings, though the specials have looked good.

This restaurant is inside an old wooden ship. Great food and service with incredible views.
They have a big projection screen attached to the mast where diving videos are projected at night. It is a serene ambiance.
The menu is very American and has all the staples from chicken wings to pizza to pasta.
The food is moderately priced and very tasty.
The bar is pretty well stocked and the prices are reasonable. They also have happy hour with reduced price drinks.
If you are in Yap, you must eat here.

This place itself is just a fun place to eat at. Has great views, and a nice breeze no matter where you sit on the ship. The stickers and t shirts and dollars hanging around are nice to see that so many people around the world have traveled to this small island and on the ship. They have a large menu with lots of options and on some nights the chef has a special for something he got fresh that day. The prices are a little high for the portion size in my opinion compared. They have cheese souffle on the happy hour menu for $5.95 and it was 2 pieces cut info 4 which was pretty expensive and their onion rings are breaded not really crispy. Their curry is good but the portion was small and i got it without chicken and it was still the same price and the same size with or without which seems kinda silly. But their pizza was good and home made. My favorite is their breakfast and their baked goods. The breakfast was so on point no matter what it was I ordered something different every day. The baked goods were probably my favorite. The beer that they made in house was so delicious i recommend trying it out. Over all this place is great nice staff and nice scenery. For vegetarian or vegan people you can easily find a meal here for a few different days.

Great food, amazing view, and service at the unique and beautiful Manta Ray Bay Resort. We ate most of our meals at the restaurant. There was a nice variety and selection on the menu.

We ate here for 10 days. The pizza is amazingly good but my favorite has to be pre-ordered and that was the local land crab cooked with local vegetables. Just great. We drank the local beer and had good meals on board, Watch where you walk, the planks are uneven and this is no place for fancy shoes.
