My wife had a cheese scone which, as others have mentioned, was excellent. My muffin was very light and enjoyable and 10 year old enjoyed his caramel slice. He loved the "artwork" on his hot chocolate. Service was friendly and prompt. Just let down a bit by the not very hot coffee.

On a corner in the Main Street is Mrs Ms urban chic cafe.
Reasonably priced with freshly baked and cooked food, offering superfood lattes and smoothies.
Very cosy and the staff are courteous and welcoming.
Thumbs up to the white bait sandwich chef did it justice. Mouthful of joy , succulent and melt in mouth.
Supreme coffee is the cup of the day and the barista did it justice.

We cannot fault Mrs M's Cafe in Timaru. Delicious cabinet food and lunch menu. Who doesn't love an all day brunch! (Very happily cooked our bacon just the way we liked it too!) Good Gluten-free options were available. Coffee and Chai were also excellent. Very warm and inviting staff. Clean and pleasant decor. Highly recommend this Cafe.

Service: the woman behind the counter looked like she couldn't be bothered serving people and had no smile.
Food: was the food put in the microwave? It certainly tasted like it. Thyme with mushrooms? Since when is ciabatta toast bread? For the quality of the food it was way over priced!
Coffee: the coffee was the only good thing about this place
The one star is for the coffee it is all this place deserves.

New to town & popped in to meet a colleague & was sadly disappointed by a very lack lustre customer service. No effort to be pleasant & felt like they were doing me a favour by serving me.... a smile & hello can make such a difference, but sadly missing here. Maybe a next time, maybe not.

This was our first time at Mrs M’s Cafe and it won’t be our last. Brilliant customer service, really friendly lovely staff!! The coffee was perfect and the Oaty caramel cake was divine. Thank you very much for making us so welcome.

Its a small cafe but you go in feeling like you are back at mums. We too often see young staff not service orientated. The young staff here were a credit to the youth today. They were wonderful. I walked away feeling my mum was still alive. The breakfast just as she would have cooked.

We love this Cafe. Food is great and the baking is first class. Friendly staff make this the best cafe in Timaru

We moved here about 5 weeks ago, googled cafe's and saw Mrs M's, we have since been there about 10 times, best service and beautiful cafe! Friendly team and food is amazing every single time! Highly recommend sweet chilli chicken wraps, savory scones and bacon n egg butter to die for! Such a warm inviting atmosphere, we are definitely regulars now!

Took kids out for lunch. Order food for kids food was ok.
Coffee was Luke warm and was a little surprised when waitress asked why I wasn't eating and went on to say am I to poor.....WT
