Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It had been 4 years since we tried this place not a good experience, but ready to give it another go. Sadly the food had not improved. I had pad thai. The most enormous pile of bland mushy pasta with a vinegary undertaste. Had a...couple of mouthfuls and realized I just couldn't eat it. Yuk. The waitress very kindly asked could she get me anything else, so I chose deep fried pickles. I couldn't eat them either! Huge gherkins fried in bater. Overcooked on the outside, undercooked bater underneath and the flavor! It was just wrong. My partner had paella and although he liked the flavor, it essentially was rice sitting in a thick sauce, very different from any other paella he has had before. Not something he would order again. Would go back to this funky restaurant, but only for drinks.More

Yum. Just yum. I loved it all. I don’t tend to find a lot of restaurants in NZ that I LOVE but this one was amazing. I only wish I lived closer. The ribs, the dumplings, sushi bowl, bao buns, fried banana… everyone was happy!

We came by for a late lunch as part of a road trip. There was quite a bit of street parking around the area and a parking lot nearby too. The restaurant is fairly large and does go back quite a bit into a larger...dining area. We opted to eat by the bar with the taller tables and stools. The menu wasn't very big but did have quite interesting Asian inspired items on there. We grabbed the beef cheek rendang, pork belly bao and the loaded fried to share. The beef cheek rendagn was amazing. The beef was really tender and the gravy was really delicious. The coconut rice smelt and tasted of coconut and went really nicely with the curry. The bao was quite nice with the crispy pork belly. The fries were interesting as the chorizo was crisped up and scattered over the top. The fries were cooked nicely too. I did like dipping the fries in the rendang sauce. The prices were all quite good, under $20 and the dishes were quite tasty. I was pleasantly surprised and happy with the lunch choice.More

Fantastic new menu with superb food & excellent service. Negatives are the wine is so expensive & not in a wine glass & the majorly chipped desert plate! Will be returning to try it again.

Haven’t been here before but will certainly be back. The menu has entree size dishes and with an international theme to them. I often find that restaurants have interesting entrees and average mains but not here. I had beef cheek rendang which was very, very...tasty. The bad buns, dumplings and sliders were also excellent. Good beer on tap. The wines are interestingly priced. Three 250 ml glasses of wine are cheaper (by$3) than the whole bottle - can’t work that out. The service staff were helpful and attentive. An enjoyable lunchMore
