Hidden gem!!! We saw it leaving the cathedral and decided to eat before continuing the tour of Avila and an excellent decision!
We ordered the menu for 30 euros per person which included 2 dishes, bread, drinks and desserts.
First we ordered the spaghetti bolognese and the fresh goat cheese salad with walnuts, both very delicious!
For the second course we chose the beef cheeks and the piquillos stuffed with beef, both delicious!!!
For dessert, cheesecake is also very good!!!
All accompanied by summer red wines that we love and chopped!

We wanted to eat local food and we opted for a menu that allowed us to try the revolconas potatoes with torreznos, the beans with slaughter, grandmother's salad, a half kilo steak from Ávila with bread, dessert, and for a drink in our case a small bottle of wine all really well served, with perfect timing between courses. The staff is very nice, friendly and professional. We highly recommend it. And to top it off right next to the cathedral. The price is €56 for a menu for 2 people, if you want a 750 gram steak, the price is €60.

Great place, super delicious food and the owner is charming! Affordable price for the quality of the products, despite it being a party, they seated us immediately and are very quick in serving and bringing the food. We will return for sure

Restaurant disappointment. We got carried away with the positive reviews. We called the day before to book and were told that it had to be at 14.00 and what was our surprise that they admitted to a lot of reservation and always with free tables and on top we were placed on a table next to the door cold, near the people who came in and stuck to the other table. We ordered a 32 euro menu with white beans that looked like a canister (we ate them the day before at another restaurant and they were nothing like each other), a thistle with badisimo chickpeas, a normal entrecot and a rack with a floury sauce. In short, we found it a battle site, which they are giving to many meals without looking at anything else. Not recommended

Extraordinary restaurant in the historic center of Ávila. It is located next to the Cathedral, in the heart of the historic center. I have eaten here again after several years and I see that everything is still great. From this restaurant I would highlight:
-Excellent treatment. Very good waiter.
-Quality food.
-Excellent quality/price ratio.
-Abundant quantity on the plates.
-Location, in the historic center.
We ordered the Tasting Menu for €60 (total price) for 2 people, which includes 3 starters to share (revolconas potatoes with torreznos; white beans and Russian salad) + 1 750-gram steak with fries + 2 drinks + 2 breads + 2 homemade desserts).
EXQUISITE!! All very rich.
We had a wonderful meal and tried the typical dishes of Ávila.
You have several options to order. Menu dishes; the normal menu and finally, two tasting menus (€56 and €60, only the 500g or 750g steak changes). Personally I recommend this tasting menu (€60 total price) because with it 2 people eat very well, and you can try traditional dishes from the region.
I advise BOOKING. It usually fills up every weekend.

We arrived and were lucky that there was a table for two free so we took advantage because then people were waiting to eat. It is true that there is a continuous flow of people and if you wait a little, you eat, but after 1:30 p.m. they did not take a reservation for us for two people.
We ordered a menu to share for two for €60 that included 3 starters: revolconas potatoes (or revolconas, I always doubt), a chicken consommé and a white bean. The consommé in an individual glass and the other two to share. And then the star dish...750 g. of love in the form of a steak from Ávila. The point was perfect and the flavor was incredible. Then a homemade dessert and off we go. A very good option if you are going to visit Ávila and stay in the Alcázar door area.

Excellent value for money. Location, the best walking distance to the Cathedral and the Wall. Attraction on the part of the waiters, very good, kindness and the perfect balance between agility and not weighing you down over time. It's up to the top, at 2 am it's already full and when we left at 3.15 am there was a long queue still waiting to eat. The quality, you can tell. We'll be back.

We went to this restaurant because of what we read about it.
It didn't disappoint us at all.
The place is very nice and cozy. Being a non-holiday weekday it was very quiet.
The super friendly waiter served us right away,
We ordered the Avila Veal Menu for two consisting of Castilian soup, white beans, revolconas potatoes, 750 gr steak, drinks and dessert.
When I told the waiter that I couldn't eat anything that had pepper or spice in it, he told us that he would send a note to the kitchen so that the meat didn't have any pepper and that he would present the sauces that accompany it separately, but that the beans and potatoes They could have some spicy component in their sauce.
Accepting on our part that I would not eat either of the two things and that I would only have the broth and the meat, the waiter brought me, without requesting it, a salad with goat cheese that did not increase the price of the menu. It was a great detail on their part.
Regardless of this, I commented that everything was delicious and the meat was at its cooking point, very tender and tasty. For dessert we ordered cheesecake and it was spectacular.
The menu for two and 1 coffee cost us 62 Eu.
Truly a restaurant to recommend.

Typical food, fantastic setting, adjusted price.
We took the 60 euro menu with entrecot of 750 gr, on a Tuesday during the week and it was a success. Cheesecake is like a white petitsuis, amazing. Stirring potatoes, beans that were delicious and a very good broth. Food without additives and full of flavor. Recommended 100%

We have been a few days in Avila as a family, by chance we stumbled upon the restaurant Siglodoce, right in front of the cathedral. Emma attended us, one of the waitresses and her professionalism and kindness helped us enjoy some culinary moments that will endure in my memory. The food is traditional and keeps the historical flavors of Avila. Unbeatable place and that I recommend to everyone. Thanks, Emma.

We booked following the reviews in the app. Everything was very good: table ready at the indicated time, super fast service and very friendly. The disappointment came with the food: nothing out of this world. We ordered several menus for two and the meat left a lot to be desired, or the knives didn't cut anything.
They seem more concerned about feeding a lot of people and quickly so that the next ones can enter.
In short, what I said, disappointment.

We couldn't leave this place more satisfied, both the food and the service have been unbeatable, everything was absolutely exquisite. The steak was done to the perfect point and was delicious, both that and the 3 starter dishes on the sharing menu, the desserts are another delight. They were very quick to serve us and were always attentive in case we were missing something on the table. I recommend this place 100% without a doubt. We especially thank Inmaculada for her attention and kindness, and she also had the great detail of giving us one of the desserts for our little son. Without a doubt when we return to Ávila it will be a mandatory stop.

We went to eat good meat from Ávila and left more than satisfied, I would definitely recommend it and return to Siglodoce. We tried the 3 tapas menu, a 75pgr steak from Ávila beef with a drink and dessert and everything was very good. Very friendly service too. I recommend going hungry!

We found this place looking online. The menu met all our expectations: for 30 euros typical food from Ávila, incredible meat, good house wine and a building with a 12th century wall. The house cheesecake, unbeatable. Inma is very friendly and a great host. To highlight, the works of art of the premises, with great personality. We will repeat every time we see Ávila
