Venue is beautiful, food is good (wouldn’t expect less in Avila) and service was surprisingly fast and attentive (used to be very slow and tedious in the past). Huevos de corral trufados is a must. Keep the good work!

Friendly staff and good value "Menu del Dia" at €25. Three courses of local dishes with generous portion sizes and unlimited house wine (surprisingly good). Set in an attractive covered courtyard the 17th century architecture is a great setting and a lovely surprise.

Let me start by saying the hotel has an excellent location. Our room (229) was large and well appointed but like a sauna. The individually controlled air conditioning did not work so it was always hot and stuffy. When we complained to reception they advised...More

Lovely dining room but the food was just ok. Pork is served pink and was quite a shock to our fellow travellers. The service was very good and staff were very helpful. It is helpful if you speak a little Spanish.

It's a nice place, beautifully themed as a claustro. At night you can see the sky. Very romantic and there are many options for a light meal. It's attached to a restaurant if your mood is for a more robust meal.
