Shichirin is a Japanese Konro Grill Restaurant located in central Canggu. Shichirin served selection of premium meat that the meat will be grilled on the table and Tepanyaki. Taking a new and fun experience for the guests. All dishes are prepared with passion by our professional chef. Open daily from Monday to Sunday, 2PM to 11PM.

We had such a wonderful and quite unexpected 'entertaining' lunch experience last week at Shichirin .... The food was fresh, delicious and served with such artistry it felt almost wrong to eat! The lovely Ryska was our hostess and looked after us impeccably whilst also helping us to plan our next experience in this beautiful part of the world. Sudi put on quite the show whilst preparing our teppanyaki dishes - photos don't do his skills justice! Highly recommended Thank you again to such a welcoming team We'll be back next time for sure

Authentic Japanese dining experience.

Shichirin is a gem of a restaurant that offers an immersive and authentic Japanese dining experience. From the moment you step in, you are greeted by a traditional Japanese ambiance complete with a bar, teppanyaki bar, and charming Japanese lanterns that set the perfect mood. We started our evening with two delightful cocktails—Friends of Hibachi and Sake Rika. Both drinks were refreshing and awakening, ideal for starting off a wonderful dining experience. We opted for the omakase, which included around six meticulously crafted dishes. Each menu item was a culinary masterpiece, flawlessly prepared and presented. The variety and quality of the food exceeded our expectations and truly highlighted the chef's expertise. Adding to the enjoyment, the chef entertained us throughout the meal with his impressive skills and engaging personality. It was a delightful performance that made the evening even more memorable. The ambiance at Shichirin is incredibly comfortable, making it easy to lose track of time. We ended up staying for almost two hours, savoring every moment in the cozy and welcoming environment. It’s a must-visit for anyone looking to experience authentic Japanese cuisine with a touch of entertainment. Highly recommended!

Hidden Gem of culinary perfection

A truly magic experience at Shichirin Canggu. We ordered a number of delicious dishes accompanied by the Sababay house wine. Thoroughly recommend Sea Scallop in butter it is the taste of heaven in your mouth you will want more. The sashimi set was so fresh that you could taste the ocean in your mouth. The attention to each dish was exquisite with gold leaf and caviar in shades black and yellow. The staff made our lunch complete with attention to detail, mindfulness and lovely smiles. Thank you Lestari for your excellent service. This hidden gem is a complete must in Canggu

Amazing experience & tasty food !!

Amazing food, hospitality & overall feel. We had the wagyu steak main and so tasty definitely worth the money, not overly priced. Possibly the best Japanese food in the area. Will visit again !!

Melt in your mouth steak

Three days in Bali and already going back for seconds the meal we had twice now is wagu beef cubes with a trio of dips and some “even I ate them vegetables”. The service is amazing very polite and very helpful and very professional. You can see them cooking your meal and it just adds to the ambience of the place. Highly recommend. I’ll be dreaming about that steak when I get back home.

Possibly the best meal of my life

Go there. Right now. Our third trip to Canggu and I’m convinced this is the best meal I’ve had in Indonesia, if not ever. This place is world class, astonishingly affordable and they’ve only just opened up. This is probably the closest thing I’ve had to a spiritual experience (and I just got back from Gili T if you catch my drift). If you want to be served the kind of food that can make a grown man cry (I am grown man) then look no further. Stylish food and setting, extremely fast and professional service, exquisite food and a show to go with it. This ought to be a mandatory experience.

Amazing!!! Best Japanese food I have ever eaten with a nice touch of Bali. What a splendid find this, from the food to the service. Strongly recommend any of the main dishes as their chefs know a lot of amazing tricks while they put together each plated masterpiece.

We had dinner at Shichirin and were not disappointed. The staff , all of them, are extremely friendly and welcoming. We quickly ordered a glass of wine and a cocktail which tasted amazing. The portion of the red wine was a little less then expected. We ordered salmon sashimi and miso soup for startes. Sashimi was impressive - the miso soup was good. For main course we decided for Wagyu beef and shrimps. Both were really good - whereas de wagyu was slightly more interesting as a dish. All of the courses were decorated into detail and pleased the eye. The chef is really talented and it was a blast to see her in action. All in all a 10/10 dinner and experience:

The best Japanese restaurant in Bali

This is the best japanese restaurant in bali so far. We had 3 experiences in 1 place from live cooking teppanyaki, hot stone gyukatsu, and izakaya. The foods we had order all perfect taste. I highly recommend saikoro-sea scallops-norway salmon-and jackfruit crème brûlée. They have bar and the cocktails also good. Friendly staffs. I’ll be back again for sure👍🏼😋

one of the best Japanese food in Canggu. We came for dinner, the place wasn’t that big, but comforting. Warm great from The chef, with teppanyaki attraction. All the food that we order was superb. Must try their Gyukatsu & the appetizer clams with soyu sauce so fresh

Watching the chefs cook right in front of you is like a fun show. The beef dish is so tasty and crispy, and there are lots of other yummy options too. Whether you love trying new things or just want good food, this place has it all in a relaxed setting.

Phenomenal experience. The service was outstanding - professional and Balinese warm. Extremely fresh and high quality ingredients. Visual presentation of food bordering on Michelin level. If this weren’t our last night in Bali, we might eat here every night.

We had such a great dinner at Shichirin. The food was delicious and the staff so friendly and nice. I would definitely go there again and would for sure recommend this restaurant! Great food, great prices, great staff. Go!

Delicious food, great atmosphere
