The restaurant is very well decorated and cozy. Staffs are the best, they helped us order with good recommendations. We had pizza, pasta and carpaccio for appetizer, also dessert and everything was good, and price is very good compared to the value of the food and service. Nothing to complain

Hip and bohemian decor, typical for the current image of Canggu as the "new hip town"
We waited at the bar as there was a 20 minute wait. Staff was friendly and attentive.
Finally we were seated at the verandah, and though the food service was a bit slow, all drinks, dishes and dessert were perfect.
The only thing bothering us and every patron around us were the mosquitos. You would expect that being tropical climate, but somehow there were just way too many mosquitos around and under the tables.
They have free valet !! Not many places provide this service, finding a parking spot for your car can be a hassle in Canggu.

Absolutely love this italian restaurant. The service is first class, the meals are full of flavour and taste and I love their dirty martinis. My wife and I shared the gnocchi fungi and a sausage pizza, sooo good. I had my usual dirty martini and my wife enjoyed a White Russian. This place has unusual decor which I love and is well worth a visit. The prices are very reasonable.

After reading all the good reviews, I had really high expectations about this restaurant.. « best pizza, excellent service,... » but how disappointing it was. The waitresses were really grumpy, unprofessional and every 10 minutes taking selfie of themselves wearing the hygienic masks. The pizza was very very basic and expensive compared to what you can get elsewhere. We ask for a burrata, they don’t have. We ask for a glass of red wine, they don’t have. Cherry tomatoes replaced by flavourless normal tomatoes.. So in general, nothing « bad » but don’t bother going there, you’ve got plenty of better options in canggu.

All we can say is that during times like this we are just so grateful to have waitresses willing to work for us
Many of the items are not available because suppliers are out supply due to Covid and for example about Burrata you can clearly see we covered the item with a sticker cause is not available
We are so sorry you didn't have a nice experience we normally provide high vibes and good food

Pasta with seafood was dry and not tasty at all, eggplant a la greek was normal, ginger beer is not a beer but basically 2 ginger shots and sugar syrup.
Cost is much higher than quality at this place, there are much cheaper and better places nearby to have dinner.
Staff is good and friendly tho.

Arrived and got told there were no tables so sat at the bar (no issue) sat there for 5 minutes and had to ask to order drinks and get a drinks menu. 10 minutes passed and we saw multiple tables become free and took us to ask if we could be seated in order to get a table. Once sat we were still waiting for drinks and ordered food and then we were told the arancini would take 15 minutes, again no issue but the starters took 30+ minutes to arrive whilst the restaurant was emptying. Our starters of arancini and our second choice of bruschetta (ran out of pepperoni, what Italian runs out or pepperoni?) arrived after ages we then had to deal with the taste of the arancini and the lack of flavour on the bruschetta. Honestly don’t have the arancini it’s horrific. We also had a pizza and carbonara which were okay but nothing special whilst being relatively expensive for Bali and rather underwhelming for ‘11th best in Canggu’

I came here with 2 friends & we shared 3 entree’s, 2 mains and 2 desserts.
It was more than enough food for all 3 of us, the serving sizes were very decent & the food was amazing.
The staff were so friendly & welcoming.
We had pesto bruschetta
Arancini
Artichoke salad
Thicken thigh & vegetables
Prosciutto pizza with a thin base
Cheesecake
Chocolate fondant
Everyone was very satisfied with the ambiance, customer service, quality of food & value for money.

Da Romeo has some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had in my life. We started it off with their eggplant & falafel appetizers & they were both 10/10. Then I got the pici primavera (perfect for vegans and vegetarians) & my boyfriend got the salmon fettuccine dish. All of the food was absolutely incredible & so were the drinks. They even have gluten free options, shiitake mushroom spaghetti, vegan cheese, and so much more. There’s something for every kind of diet. The waitstaff was also super friendly & we felt right at home. If you’re in Canggu, definitely stop by Da Romeo!

Couldn’t recommend enough! Awesome atmosphere with cool decor, dim lighting and vibey music that’s still relaxed which which makes it an ideal spot for a date night. My partner had the Bone Marrow starter. He said the addition of salsa verde and capers made for an awesome combo. I had the Arancini aka deep fried risotto balls which were so yummy! The sauce that complimented it was really good. The portion sizes were generous for both meals. For the mains my partner ordered the Biscetta di peace aka baked grouper fish. The fish was placed on a bed of fennel, roast tomatoes and olives which made for the perfect accompaniment. The dish was tasty and light. I ordered the Melanzane parmigiana aka eggplant lasagne. This is made for cheese lovers! Luckily I absolutely love cheese and so was in love with this dish. When it first arrived I was apprehensive as it looked like it might be a bit oily but I was completely mistaken! So so yummy which two pieces of salty bread to dip in the sauce.
We each had a glass of the de tinto sangria. The glasses were massive and definitely worth out while.
We ended the night with dessert. I was so full so just had the Affogato with chocolate ice cream which was lovely. My partner made the best decision and got the chocolate fondant dessert. Honestly it was one of the best I’ve tried! If you come you must definitely try it.
Above all, the service was incredible. The host, waiter/waitress were super friendly and attentive which always makes an evening more enjoyable.

I had dinner with a friend and I must say not only they have great selection of Italian food with arguably great taste, but the location is also very convenient and the service is something I can’t complain on as well.
A not to be missed if you want to experience the full dining scene in Balk.
Will definitely comeback whenever I crave for Italian food.

The moment we walked in we were greeted by the wonderful smell of the Italian kitchen. And the welcoming staff, who were all dressed really nicely.
We started with the bruchetta and the carpaccio, which were both very lovely. But the main course is what made our day. We had the lasagne, which was still steaming hot and full of flavour. We also had the prosciutto pizza. The pizza was a true thin crust pizza with a surprisingly crispy crust aswell. The pizza was really delicous, like you'd aspect from a true Italian.
We finished with the chocolate fondant, which we loved aswell.
We definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a true Italian experience.

Food at this place is from another planet. For starters had Carpaccio di manzo which was so delicious also portion was huge for appetiser. Ragu di carne for main dish. Slow cooked beef was so tender. Loved every bite of it. To cool it all off had some hazelnut ice cream with home made coffee liqueur. Tasted just so good. They also offer complimentary shot of liquor your choice after dinner. Not to mention mojito was definitely the best one I’ve had in canggu area. Overall lovely restaurant with stylish interior. Can’t wait to be back for more delicious food.

I had a wonderful meal at Da Romeo a few days ago.
The atmosphere was lovely and intimate and the waiting staff were super friendly and accommodating.
I had the sliced tuna for starters, the ragu for main (hands down the richest and most succulent ragu I’ve ever tasted) and then a melt in your mouth chocolate fondant for dessert. It was a wonderful culinary experience!
I’d recommend this place to any foodie or lover of Italian cuisine. It’s right in the heart of Canggu, fast service, friendly staff and excellent dishes.
Upon my return to Bali, I’ll definitely make a return visit!

Best authentic Italian food we had in Bali. We ordered a starter and some cocktails first and wanted to wait with ordering our main course, as we experienced a rush before when ordering all at once. We tried to explain this to our waiter but she assured she would let the kitchen know to start preparing our main course as soon as we’re done with the starter. Drinks took quite a while to be prepared- a shame, as they were so good, we would’ve probably ordered more if our food wouldn’t have come that fast. The food was top notch, nothing to complain about. But as expected our main course came right after the starter which made us feel rushed. Overall, the waitresses were waiting to collect our plates and my boyfriend wasn’t even done chewing when questioned if they could take his plate. Service was friendly though. :)

We came to Da Romeo to have a sister dinner date and was very pleased with the whole dining experience! We had the bone marrow and escargot for the appetizer, then barramundi with butter sauce and spaghetti bolognese and of course, something sweet to close our night, my sister had cheesecake and i had tiramisu. I honestly recommend all the dishes, the quality and taste of the food was above expectation and we really did enjoy it all! Their portion was so generous to the point we decided to take away some of the dishes. Not to mention the classic and vintage ambience of the place is really unique and cozy. Last but not least we would like to give a shoutout to table attendants, they were really helpful and lovely🤍
All in all, we had such a wonderful time dining at Da Romeo! 🤍
