This place was amazing! We happened to chance by it on a Wednesday which is Happy Hour Burgers all day! $3.50 for really great and good sized burgers - so amazing! This is obviously a local favorite too as there was quite a queue and food did take a while, but was well worth the wait.
Kids meals were $10 for chicken nuggets or fish nuggets with chips and a drink. The $3.50 burger (or around $5.50 full price I think) was a lot of food as well.

Introduced to this place on advice from a local. Burgers are made fresh, and chips are from fresh oil. We have been there a few times, and consistency remains on point.
A few sheltered seats, otherwise picnic tables in the open. Casual environment. As per the title, get a cheeseburger, and make it wet.

I’ve tried enough burgers to know that The Palace does the best burgers in Rarotonga and their service goes hand in hand. We drive half way across the Island just to snag the craving. You must try the Palace Burger and Wet Cheese Burger! Service is fantastic!

Called in on a Saturday afternoon, it was quite busy, Instead of the usual palace burger we ordered fish n chips with some calamari. Took a while to get it but worth the wait. Mahimahi with crispy batter and very nice chips too. Will always go back, especially for the location on the wharf.

We had heard great things about this place so decided to give it a go. Apart from it being a cheaper option compared to other places on the island it really was nothing special and we wouldn’t return. Especially after trying the burgers at Villi’s. My son ordered a hot dog but what came out was a little Dagwood dog in a cup. I had the Hawaiian and it was disappointing. Hubby had the Palace burger and said it was ok. The place is usually busy but I think this is because it’s cheap.

Tastiest parrot fish and chips! My husband had the palace burger...this is about 3 burgers in one and he said it was delicious. Finish it all off with a raspberry vaiora in a chip cup! Great location near the wharf. Favorite with the locals, so you know it's good. Will definitely stop by again while I'm in Rarotonga.

Home from Rarotonga 2 days and I miss Palace Burgers already :/ We ended up eating there 3x over our trip and if we'd found it earlier in the trip we probably wouldve eaten there even more lol.
Nothing fancy but perfect for what it is, best burgers ever (and on locals recommendations we tried the 'wet' cheeseburger which was a mess but OMG so good) really well priced and very friendly staff. Wish there was a Palace Burger in Wellington

Palace Takeaways was recommended from friends who have been before. The Burgers here are so yummy! Mum had the Chicken Burger, my sister had the Egg Burger & I had a Fish Burger. The Burgers are so big, I was struggling to eat mine, but didn't want to waste any as it was so delicious. You wont be disappointed in any Burger you choose. Definitely recommend Palace Takeaways to travelers. This place is always busy, so allow waiting time or phone your order through.

I had the egg burger and my wife had Hawaiian, beautiful!! Add a punnet of chips to that, and I couldn't eat another bite. AND, being Wednesday, we got the burgers half price. Always a wait, so pre-order at least an hour before you want it. Worth the wait anyway.

We went a few days ago and again today! The place was super busy both times with all their locals and it's no surprise why. Lovely & fast service, delicious food (we got fish & chips) and even gave the kids some sauce as an extra. Totally appreciated! Would absolutely recommend.

Guess we were so relaxed that we lost track of our days and thought we were getting there on the day they have their special but we were off a day. Oh well ordered anyways. Wanted something left off the burger but he said "no" so said oh well. When it came it wasn't it on there. Guess just a communication error. Was a good meal

We gave the Palace Burger a try as we had read so much about it. The two of us split one for lunch. It was loaded... and surprisingly tasty. Grab lots of napkins!! Their shop was easy to spot but we had a little difficulty finding a place to park.

Favourite burger spot on the island. Tried another popular burger place and Palace Takeaway burgers were the best! Can't wait to go back there for the wet cheese burger next year.
