We went there for an early lunch. The queue was not too bad. Ordered two sets of items - dumplings with beef noodles and dumplings with mushroom soup. Can skip the main and just eat the dumplings. Other than that, the rest not worth eating.

We tried the traditional and also the prawn dumplings. The traditional are so so good when hot and with a bit of chilli and vinegar. Got takeaway as we were queuing across the road for the less satisfying XLB. Maybe we were hungry or just...More

The restaurant is located near Nanjing Road, surrounding with quite a number of good restaurants. I've tried this at another outlet but this is so much better than others.

Incredibly simple food I had on the first night in Shanghai. Very affordable and surprisingly good for groups since they have extra seating upstairs.

Not sure what the fuss is about. Had a mixed plate of pork, shrimp, crab (paste). The crab was awful and full of oil. Other better places do crab meat, this is mushy paste. The prawns were good, the pork average. At least it was...More

Yang has tasty dumplings and much less of a line up outside than across the street. The dumplings were of a good quality, but not totally amazing. You can watch them be prepared in the front of the shop. They also do take away.

Went there after we ate Jia Jia Tang Bao (just opposite of Yang's dumpling). Oh, they have few varieties, with lamb, pork and crab. You can mix it if you want. My sis in law prefer the fried xiao long bao compare to the steam...More

We walked in based on the crowd and the Trip Advisor reviews. Its a very small place and you’ll order at the counter before turning around to get your food at the window behind you. We ordered a variety of dumplings but had some trouble...More

Nice place to stop for a quick lunch in a very Chinese area of Shanghai. In front of this restaurant here is also a place where you can try the classic Shanghai Xiaolombao (steamed dumplings with crab and pork) absolutely amazing. Cheap and good. A...More

For anyone else that receives a request to answer the "question" above- I copied it and put in on a translator app and the writer is asking for the dumpling dough recipe from the restaurant!
