The best coffee shop I ever visited in India. They have a large spread of good food and beverage. Their service will definitely impressed you to visit again and the price is also modest then the other big names in the town. Thank you EJ for this wonderful coffee place at Kolkata.

Great place for Coffee lover

Love this cafeteria. Which is situated opposite vivekanda park. This cafeteria is famous now a day. Am a coffee lover and i love there cappuccino and specially affogato(highly recommended) Overall experience is great. Love to visit again.

Aromatic coffee

Had to wait for 20 minutes for two cups of cappuccino to be served. But the coffee has a unique taste and aromatic flavour, far better taste than a Starbucks. Also had a slice of almond cake. Good one. Ambience is very good and interior design is modern & chic. Reducing one star for the inexplicable delay.

One of my favourite cafés

Love the food here…yup the menu is limited but it’s everything I like. I can do breakfast all day, quite happily. The west range omelette and the grants sandwich are among my favourites. Their confectionary and desserts are yummy. The coffee is great (love it) as is the tea (I believe they now also get some from the Glenburn Estates). The ambience is cute - there are games and books if you’re alone. Also one of my favourite places to work out of. The staff are excellent

Fun new menu is a must try

I’m a regular here and for a reason - I love their coffee and the service is great. It’s A great place to visit with friends, family and also solo…I sometimes work out of there with great coffee for company. Their granola is tops!!

Fantastic cafe

Excellent staff on every visit. Fantastic coffee served every time and just a really nice place to relax. It’s quite the diamond in the rough tucked away amongst in industrial side of things. I tried both quiches which were nice, Caesar salad w/chicken which would have been better with fresh crisp lettuce, iced coffee and Americano =excellent and a banana shake…worth visiting if your in the area and get out the heat as the Air-conditioning on a 40degree day is so nice. Oh and also try their Apple pie 🥧👅

The quality of food is obnoxious. The salad was anything but a salad. The sandwiches reeked of mayonnaise and onion and oil.

Popped in for a spot of lunch

We stopped here for some lunch and were not disappointed, the portions were large and the food was excellent. The staff very friendly and they even booked us a taxi back to our hotel, thanks

Amazing chilled out place. Outstanding coffee and deserts. Place where you order and play board games. They love you and will never rush you. Outside seating available for a lovely winter sunny day. A must visit when in cal.

We visited 8th Day on a Sunday and was very pleased. We enjoyed the new seasonal items like pumpkin pie and soup. The staff behave nicely and the ambiance is smooth. Recommended for anyone.

Food - 5/5 Drink - 5/5 Service - 5/5 Ambiance - 5/5 This cafe hits on all cylinders. Visited once 3 years ago, but since they have opened a second outlet. Still do everything well - nice to have an authentic "American" place in the city.
