Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I had been to this spot twice before and I still believe that this restaurant could be run in a much better way, if it was professionally managed.
The USP of the restaurant is the quality of the food and the ambience of the place. Everything else is just average.

This property located on NH-6 in Uluberia is perfectly alright, but I felt that this could have been managed more professionally. The seating arrangements, the decor, could be upgraded.

Whereas we had been to Azad Hind Dhaba on NH2 several times. This time, while travelling on NH6 we thought of stopping for breakfast at AHD, Uluberia instead of Sher-e-Punjab, to quickly have the breakfast and with lesser crowds.
We ordered tea and masala dosas. Service was prompt. Food priced reasonably. The dosas were okayish and so was the tea. Overall the quality of food a SherePunjab is definitely better.
There is ample parking space and the bathrooms were clean. The open air section was being frequented by most travellers.
This is a recommended stop on NH-6 if you want to avoid the ever crowded Sher-e-punjab.

About half an hour from Kolkota we stopped at this dhaba next to a petrol pump for breakfast.Ample parking and they had a scrumptious menu with dosas, idly, aloo paratha with yummy dhahi. Lots of space and you can rest a bit before a long drive.

You can get tandoori stuffed paratha with butter or curd on your choice. And excellent masala tea. The place is a bit difficult to find out from the fast moving highway. However, once yiu are there, it fulfills your stomach and heart at the same time.

We usually halt here when we go through NH6. Food quality is at per compared with other dhaba on this way.
Toilet are hygienic & clean.Staffs are polite.
Moreover there is a park adjacent to this dhaba. Your children will have few good minutes for plying here. Also it is well decorated with flower tree.
But the main drawbacks is the plying equipment are not well maintained.Take care to avoid those broken ride should not harm your children.

I don't know how they change went from Good to Worse ...... In the year of 2011 was good after that it actually started becoming worse, some how they will give service . Billing machine not working ( instead of Rs300 you will Rs1000 ka bill),make sure you guys check the bill before paying .... Bathroom smells terrible and no hand wash.
Food quality is still up to the mark ,had tandoori Chicken from there . Chicken look like a " Polio affected" Chicken.

Lunch outing done good. Thanks to Azad Hind Dhaba for not disappointing us. Great food as usual and the drive from Kolkata was worth every bit of it. It is snugged right beside a huge petrol pump, complete with a small children park, toilets and a garden. It has both indoor as well as air conditioned seating spaces to serve all types of customers. The staff is good and very prompt. Given the fact that today was the independence day, the staff was very fast and we got our dishes served just like another day. Food quality is great.
