Particularly good Bengali food (and I've had Bengali food many times) and the service was on point from the Bengali people who are simply some of the kindest, friendliest people on the planet. We had the hilsa filet and traditional mustard curry which was cooked wonderfully - the measure of good Bengali food is their hilsa and mustard curry. Special shout out to Debojit who made sure our meal was extra spicy, since we like it hot. The wait staff also gave great recommendations for local things in Kolkata, which later worked out fantastically for us.

Located on Esplanade, Peerless | Hotel is ideal for business or personal.
Oceania, one of the restaurants has an excellent ambience. The breakfast spread is awesome and includes choices of Continental and Indian dishes.
Being a guest from 2006, today I express my gratitude to 3 pillars of the hotel.
Hafeez Sir, the quintessential Chef with a flair for customer relationship. He always makes it a point to circulate amongst guests inquiring about the food and additional requirement.
Sharmishtha, the smiling lady who makes it a point to make you feel welcome. She is always around to make the guests feel comfortable.
Pradipta, a very warm and hospitable gentleman. His eyes are everywhere and catches the nuances asap. He then guides the team accordingly.
I feel welcomed when one of them is around during breakfast.

Oceanic Restaurant located in Peerless Inn, Kolkata is a Multi-cuisine Restaurant. The food is very good, cooked nicely and delicious. Staff in the Restaurant are friendly and waiting to help. Ambiance and decor is good is good.
Sqnkhadeep, Restaurant Manager runs a tight and efficient ship. Pradipta, F&B Manager oversees the over all requirements efficiently. Rabiya at the entrance of the restaurant is a pleasant person and has a smile on her face to welcome guests.
Would certainly recommend this restaurant for a good meal.

Had been to Oceanic for dinner yesterday. I must say that I was overwhelmed with the spread and also kind gestures of the staffs. Sankhadeep, restaurant manager ensured every possible way to satisfy us. His attention to details was impeccable - right from sitting options to food choice.
The food was very delicious, very good spread and ambience was just apt for families..
Would love to visit again soon and enjoy the delicious food 🍲

The menu was a buffet style, but there was a clear lack of variety and the food mostly tasted bland. They clearly dont know how to work the buffet style. The veg items were painfully mediocre yet passable but the non-veg definitely wasn’t good at all

Gr8 view and ambience, well mannered staff, good food. Overall, the experience was very satisfying.
I would recommend everyone to definitely opt for buffet breakfast, as they have a good variety of dishes.
Liked the stay and food alot.

I came with my family here for our 6th Anniversary. Very friendly place with good food and good ambience. And, Mr. Meraj, was at our service throughout. He specially cooperated with us for our 4 years old son. He is very soft spoken, well behaved and ofcourse well trained.
I am very much satisfied in every aspects.
Only one complaint: There could be more item in starters like chicken tikka, tandoori chicken, etc...etc..

I have booked my stay at Peerless Hotel in Kolkata and planned to stay for 1 day before returning from my international trip. However, the hotel staff and service pleased me so much that they convinced me to extend for another day. The food at the Oceanic Restaurant was amazing, and Mr. Aman, a young man who was outstanding and very presentable, served us with enthusiasm and represented the hotel exceptionally well. I am really impressed with his service, and the other staff members were also excellent. We had all three of our meals here during our entire stay. I totally recommend this place. If you are staying at Peerless Inn, make sure to have all your meals here.

The service was great, servers such as Aman, Ajoy, Suman, and so many others were attentive, respectful, and kind. They truly enhanced the experience.
The servers and kitchen were accommodating of allergies and preferences.

The food spread was great and quality was upto the mark. Top favourites include the banana pancake and cold coffee. Service was impeccable, Aman was there to help us with throughout. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience.

The complimentary breakfast at Oceania for 27th and 28th was really excellent. I had my daughter-in -law Captian Saipriyadarshini's (EME) relatives from Chennia for the marriage reception of my son Captian Nikhil Nair (AMC).They had a wonderful spread of South Indian delicacies. We had a great family time together.

Food Services and behave all are excellent. Specially Shumon is very cordial and supportive all the way. Though food variations are limited, but they are enough for the costing. I certainly input this review based on my personal experience.

The continental food here is exceptionally good. The ambience is top notch. The stuff is extremely helpful, well-behaved and observant. The only thing that can do with some improvement is the Indian food here. But it's definitely worth a visit, be it with family or friends. ❤
