We are visiting from London for a family wedding have visited about ten restaurants and this is by far our favourite. The food is so fresh and we love how the kitchen is open so you can see the sushi being made in front of your eye the restaurant itself is very clean and modern with friendly helpful staff to run it . Had the pleasure of eating here and the food was excellent, the portions were a good size
The staff were very friendly and helpful
Gabriel our waiter was superb and was very helpful when recommending dishes and drinks
He is a credit to the restaurant
The McKay gin was very good and I’m taking a bottle back to Ireland with me
I would highly recommend a visit to the wonderful restaurant
It is the perfect setting for a relaxing bite or a romantic meal

When in Campo Grande , this restaurant is a must! Amazing dishes , tasty, creative ! Personally i loved this peruvian japanese infusion and the service is one of the best i have experienced in Brasil! Dont miss out!

We were not really fond of Campo Grande - the city. But our one-night stay turned so much better after our dinner at "Imakay".
Very very good and experimental sushi.
Perfect cocktails made with passion! And high quality service from the waiters, even though they had some issues with English:-) !

We went there couple of times and unfortunately more than once we caught the staff complaining about us among them. From what we understood the stroller was a issue since the tables are so close to each other. The problem is: no one bother to help us or try to talk to us. The waiter/manager just kept staring at the stroller and my baby and complaining to the hostess lady.
At the first time, they actually tried to convince us to go upstairs with the stroller (using the stairs!!!). Very uncomfortable experience.
Yes, the food is great. The experience not so much.

The best (and only) experience during my short trip to Campo Grande. While it sounds exaggerated saying this without knowing much of the city, this restaurant surely provides a excellent and new experience, a good value for the money, with good selection of contemporary food and drinks (well prepared). Worth the visit and I shall visit it again.

Me and my friend had a really nice dinner at Imakay. The food was absolutely great and the service was friendly and helpful! They gave us a very nice black salmon on the house and had great suggestions on what to eat. Try the cocktail pisco sour!
