This is the only option to eat fish in Campo Grande. Service are great, waiters are polite and attentive, fish are always fresh and tasty but a little bit expensive for the values. I recommend this restaurant!

Best Fish Restaurant in MS

This restaurant is simply a delight. The staff service is spectacular and caring. The food is fantastic the rodizi is the best option. Pacu's rib and piranha soup are indescribable. But what I like most is the painted in the Urucum. You have to try! I really recommend the food is divine and the environment is simple but special.

The restaurant is simple, the food is very good and the service excellent. The option of 'rodizio" is very good, you can eat several types of fish from the region and the same type of fish prepared differentially. The price of the "rodizio" is reasonable (about 90 reais) and also includes also a self-service of salads and other dishes such as rice, etc.

I received so many advices that I should try the “rodízio” of fishes on this place (they said that I would love the quality and variety of the house) and we decided to try.... I can’t say that was disappointed because we could eat but for sure was below our expectations. The place has a normal interior (similar do those restaurants that you can easily find on every corner of Brazil - in this case don’t expect a well decorated place) and the service was fine. Waiters are polite and offer you what they called friendly service. Food was OK but I considered expensive for the quality and taste of the food. If would recommend to a friend? I would say NO...

This is a good restaurant with a great selection of fish and chicken meals at a very reasonable cost. The piranha soup is fabulous. The salmon is very fresh. The sushi is quite good. Only a couple blocks off of the Main Street makes this dining establishment easy to get to.

Amazing Fish Rodizio!

If you are visiting Campo Grande on business, on your way to Pantanal or for any reason and you like fish. You must come to Casa Do Peixe! Its not a fancy Fogo de Chao, but more of a neighborhood restaurant. There is a salad, rice, beans and more bar for self service. And the many different fish, grilled, boiled, broiled keep coming to your table. I especially enjoyed the bottomless plates of salmon sashimi. I was so full but I was enjoyed the experience so I kept eating. The caipirinhas were really good too and the beer cold! All the servers were great as well.

This restaurant offer a service called "rodizio", which means that you can pay a fixed price per person and can try all kind of dishes they have in the restaurant. But they have to much fried fish, which is not so healty. They best is a "pintado with urucum souce". I think they have a large space to improve their main dishes.

Pescatarian Heaven in Beef Country!!

This family-orientated restaurant is absolutely wonderful. It's the rodizio experience for fish lovers. Which means that after taking rice, vegetables and salad from the buffet you remain seated and are constantly surrounded by new servings of a myriad of fish dishes. If you're a pescatarian like me this is heaven and an amazing find - particularly deep in the heart of beef country! The list of dishes we loved is endless. Particularly, the Camorones Milanesa, wonderful Fish Moqueca and Costela de Pacu Frito. If I had to choose one dish not to miss it's the Peixe Suplicio - fish fried with mozzarella. And finally, the banana frita makes for a wonderful side dish. There are also some meat and chicken dishes available on request - but if you come here and order any of those you probably need to see a therapist. One final piece of advice - when you come to a good quality rodizio-style establishment like this it's a good idea to make sure you come with a good conversationalist. I came with my Brazlian girlfriend and her mother and Brazilians talk incessantly. And that's a good thing. When you're surrounded by never ending servings of such wonderful food it's essential that you talk more and eat slowly. Enjoy!

Great variety of tasty fish dishes

Come here with an empty stomach! I got the all-you-can-eat option and definitely didn't leave hungry. There was a great variety of fish dishes, from cod to dourado to salmon sashimi. I will see most of the dishes weren't the healthiest (fried or smothered in cheese) but there were healthy options such as grilled salmon and a salad bar. The decor is very basic, though let's be honest, you come here for the fish! Service was attentive and pleasant. All and all a very memorable dining experience in CG!

if i want to talk about this restaurant , this should be start with the place ,building outer design is quiet old and need to refurbished , desks and chairs is the same as outer design and is not comfortable , floor of the restaurant should be changed as soon as possible and they should repair the light issue over the desks, in brief they need to have a interior and exterior designer to change all of above problems. salad bar and buffet is good and ordinary like any Brazilian restaurant and there is no special salad about sea food in it and this is not a good idea in a fish restaurant , the meal and composition of main sea food was good and fresh and enjoyable. Internal Manager or servants need to pay more attention and hospitality to guests in brief : if you are in campo grande for a short period of time schedule one of your launch or dinner in this place , you can select this place for its great meals but is not suitable place for romance , value of foods , fresh sea food

Excellent food, rodizio style, good service, really cold beer, good options of dessert, the place has a simple setup (no frills), the price is ok, not cheap (˜R$80,00 per person with drinks on 03/2014). I recommend if you visit the area.

Excellent place to eat in Campo Grande

The Casa do Peixe is a fish restaurant with a couple of options: one can choose the Rodizio (all you can eat both fish and the buffet (with salad, beans and rice, desserts etc.), or one can order a dish that typically will serve two people. The Rodizio is about $30 per person and ordering a dish to be shared is about $17 each for two people. The food is excellent as is the service. I enjoyed the many choices both of the fish and the buffet of side dishes/salads. I highly recommend this restaurant if one is in Campo Grande and likes to eat fish. I think that most of the fish options were fish from the local rivers, but I don't really know for sure. I also enjoyed the side dishes from the buffet, and the dessert bar was good too, especially the mousse de maracuja (marvelous). I highly recommend this place to eat.
