We had dinner here. Service was fast and attentive. But the food was unexciting. We got a tandoori lamb dish with a spicy curry sauce on the side. The lamb tasted very good, but the spicy curry sauce had absolutely no heat even though the...menu described it as hot. The lamb was better without the sauce anyway since the flavor of the sauce didn't complement the flavor of the lamb. We also got the Chettinadu style curry which is a specialty of the house. A heat scale at the bottom of the menu showed us how hot they can make it. Indian Hot was the hottest so we ordered the curry to be Indian Hot. But what we got was a curry that was mild with barely perceptible heat. Very disappointing. Overall, apart from the excellent service, the food was not suitable for chileheads.More

My husband and daughter took me to Pind for my birthday. The food and service were excellent and the portion size and cost were very reasonable. My husband, who is not a big fan of Indian food, had the Chicken Tikka Masala. He thoroughly enjoyed...his meal. I had the Paneer Makhni which was very good. My daughter even found something she enjoyed under the Vegetarian Kids Menu. Our waiter was excellent. He answered all of our questions, made sure we were satisfied with our food and was very attentive. The portion size was enough that we had leftovers to bring home. We will definitely be going back.More

Pind does a solid tikka masala and butter chicken and naan, enough so that my boys wanted their leftovers for breakfast. But if you stop there, it’s like stopping to admire the pearly gates without actually entering heaven. The mint tandoori chicken was divinely tender,...the biryani was as fragrant as an angel, the lasooni gobhi (fried cauliflower) was cherubically sweet, and I felt like shouting Hosanna when I tucked in to the shrimp vin d’alho (Goan curry). And Prince, our server, was simply perfect. He spoke to each of my boys by name and his service equaled the quality of the food. We’ll be back.More

Our party of four ordered the Butter Chicken, Mint chicken, Achari Chicken Ka Korma and Chicken Tikka Masala. It was the best meal we have ever had, everyone's dish was delicious. Our waiter was friendly and very kind. When we told him how much we...loved the Tamarind chutney, the chef gave us a small sampling to take home, it was such a treat to our out of town guest, It made their evening ! We have traveled all over, and Ping is simply the best restaurant. The entire meal was so reasonable, plenty portions to have left over to take home, average dinner was around $ 16.More

With a growing Indian population, the NOVA area has needed a fine dining, authentic, menu with a la carte options. Lunch was the best cooking I have had in the US. The chili paneer gets the prize..tangy, flavourful and savory! The tingle stayed on the...tongue for hours! The Samosas were tops and the two chicken dishes could not have been more different and pleasing!! Redolent with the regional flavors I experienced in my two years of business throughout the Country Service was impeccable and informative... We will be back soon.More

I have been a long-time patron of Pind Restaurant. I have gone so many times and posted to Yelp that I have been titled "Duke of Pind," just this past weekend actually. Anyway,I have been to the restaurant since it opened nearly 5 years ago....I love good food, and I am especially fond of ethnic (non-American) cuisine. I have been to this restaurant three weekends in a row, which says a lot about this restaurant; and me too I guess :-( The food is delicious, the decorum of the restaurant is nice. Sturdy tables, nice white plates, and dishes, a decent looking (and more importantly stocked) bar. The staff is professional and always presentable. If you order something and it is not correct TELL THEM, they will make it right, even if it is your fault. Case in point, this weekend I ordered Palak (spinach curry) and I casually stated to the server that it was my vegetable dish - he misunderstood and thought I wanted Vegetable Palak; which also included peas. I cannot eat peas, and so when I received the dish with peas in it I had to let them know. I took ownership of the fault, but they went and made me what I actually wanted - Palak, with no extra veggies.More

After hearing about Pind from a work colleague I decided to try it out. Wonderful food. Naan is fantastic. It's the best Indian food I've had in Northern Virginia

Rarely get to eat Indian food because my wife is not the biggest fan (which is odd because she likes everything she tries), so I was surprised when she suggested Pind for lunch. We had the buffet and loved everything on it! Really, really delicious!...The hot naan was wonderful. The staff was pleasant as well. Overall it was a great experience. When we left my wife said she was open to trying other Indian restaurants as well. Thank you Pind!More

Kudos to the awesome food provided by Pind for our housewarming. Their home catering was perfect for our guests which was stylishly decorated and served to the table for our guests. Each and every one of them (guest) praised the food 🥘. Every one was...mesmerized by perfect flavor, presentation and fragrance of the food. It was served hot to our guests and each and every time we were swinging by the food table, it was mouth watering. Not to forget about the quantity of the food served which can be served to 10-20 more guests if needed. Even though we have a big menu of food items served by them, but papdi chaat and methi chicken 🍗 were the standout dishes served with awesome flavors. We continuously (3 years) visit their restaurant in one Loudoun Ashburn, but we’re disappointed by their quality. The food is consistent and they offer a lot of variety. We also do a lot of takeout and there is no loss of quality even then. We have been to a lot of the other local Indian restaurants but for price, quality and variety look no further.More
