Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is indeed great Thai restaurants in Austin, especially for Indians like us who visit Austin. We really enjoyed the delicious tasty Thai food and the service rendered. I appreciate their hospitality in spite of heavy rush on the weekend. When in Austin do make...a point to visit this restaurant.More

I ordered food online while in my car to pick up a quick dinner. I promptly started my car to pick it up. My battery was dead. I immediately called them it was within 2 minutes, and they said sorry we will not refund you...because your food is made. What? That is a lie. I explained to him that I JUST ordered it, and that was impossible. He said, "well, we make food pretty quick around here." Sorry, you just lost a customer for straight up lying and not being understanding.More

Titaya’s is one of the best spots in town. My wife and I always come back to this place. It’s great for dine in or take out. Take out is efficient. And the food is delicious! Be prepared for a wait during dinner time. It’s...a hot spot.More

This place is out of the way, out on North Lamar, but it is definitely worth finding. I doesn't look like much from the street, but inside it is nice and clean and well-organized. The menu has many choices and the food is excellent--delicious. We...had different items but everything was great. Service was also very good. Seems like it might be family owned--very friendly. I would definitely recommend Titaya for Thai food in Austin. We will definitely return!More

We went for dinner after a recital at UT on a Friday night, and it was busy, but the wait was only 35 minutes. After our party of 4 was seated, my granddaughter surprised us. I offered to share my chair with her, and the...host came over and repositioned the table to accommodate one more chair, no problem! We started with Spinach Dumplings, steamed dumplings stuffed with spinach with a side of mild sweet soy vinegar. What a surprisingly yummy treat! I ordered Pad Thai, and it was excellent! Others ordered more spicy dishes, and they raved about the food. My granddaughter ordered Mango Sticky Rice, and it was so pretty - a half mango sliced, sitting on a base of what looked like blue/green sticky rice (I think it was black rice), all covered with coconut sauce. It was delicious!! Our server was wonderful, quietly refilling drinks, and removing empty plates, and we never felt rushed, enjoying lively conversation as we ate. I would definitely eat there again and am happy to recommend Titaya's Thai Cuisine in Austin, Texas!More

We wanted Thai food and gave this place a try. It was decent, but not the best. We had to wait a bit. The service was ok - but the server was a little overwhelmed. The food was ok, but not great. I would give...it another try, though. Not bad!More

We went for lunch during workweek. The hospitality would enjoy being manned by someone who seems more "hospitable". But the food was quite tasty, selection interesting and service good as well as the ambiance of the place. Not my most favorite place in the world...but I would go again.More

Had a pleasant lunch at Titaya's recently. Overall, the food is good, but it's not 100% homemade and we suspect it contained MSG. Specific dishes: 1. Tom Kha soup- good flavor but a little watery 2. Pork Garlic Mixed Peppercorn- very tasty pork dish. The...menu describes it as “Seasoned sliced pork loin sautéed with garlic, mixed ground peppercorn and sweet soy. Cucumber mixed green.” But our dish didn’t come with any cucumbers, just some greens. 3. Pad Plick Khing- tasty but salty; the red curry was not intense. After asking about their curry paste, we found out that Titaya starts with an off-the-shelf canned curry paste and modifies it. We prefer homemade curry and could definitely tell the difference between canned and truly homemade from scratch. Also, I suspect the curry contained MSG (had an instant reaction to it and headache later). Service was good. Nice Ambiance. Elegant compared to the average strip mall Thai restaurant. Overall cleanliness: above average Bathroom cleanliness: averageMore

This restaurant has always had a reputation of being the best Thai place to visit in Austin. They also have a reputation of being the busiest restaurant during both peak lunch and dinner hours. We ordered the succulent chicken skewer with peanut sauce for appetizer...and green curry with fried tofu and house specialty noodle. At a busy night we were able to get seating almost immediately. We were greeted by a professional and very courteous waitress. Even at such busy night, our food arrived within 5 minutes which its a pleasant surprise. The green curry was sweet and spicy and the fried tofu compliments the dish perfectly. The house specialty noodle comes with a fantastic slowed cooked beef that us both tender and flavorful. Overall we always have a great experience eating here. If you want good Thai food in Austin you must say this place a visit.More

We enjoyed this restaurant very much. The waitresses are so charming and sweet. The food was good, although it tended towards the spicy end of the range. I had Pad Puk with beef with a great brown sauce! We loved the fried tofu appetizer!
