Weird feeling eating in a restaurant during Covid( we are from Michigan). Place was about h half full, food was ok but nothing spectacular. Must admit we were really late for dinner. Wife questioned the decor choices

My wife coaxed me to go to The Plaza from a previous trip thru Amarillo. It didn’t disappoint. The atmosphere / decor is great, even with the mandated table spacing. The food was even better. I ordered the enchilada plate and the Mrs. ordered stuffed...avocado.. Deeeelicious! Generous portions were served. The table salsa has just the right amount of heat without being too overpowering; chips were warm and delicious. Our server, Devonte, was awesome. He took our drink and food orders quick without the feeling of being rushed. I’ve eaten at quite the few TexMex places, but The Plaza has to be ranked top of that list. The prices for the menu items were surprisingly reasonable. Clean tables, floors, attentive waitstaff, GREAT food. Our tab for the both of us stuffed was less than $30.00. Very good food, easy order and curbside pickup, staff was very friendly, bringing out food as soon as we arrived.

My husband and I stopped here for dinner and what a surprise! The food here is really awesome. Not your average TexMex. We will be back. Thank you!

The only thing that saved this meal was our server. We called ahead to have seating for 10 , I was not told we could not sit togerther just that they "dont do reservations" I asked about purchasing a cake as it was a birthday...and was told there would be plenty to choose from. We areived and we told we must seat at 2 tables . While this is not their fault (covid) we couldnt even talk to our other table even after I aske to make sure we were next to eachother. The whole cakes were all frozen so completely defeated the purpose of purchasing one as we would have to wait to cut into it. The hostess while Im sure nice enough in other situations was overwhelmed and borderline rude trying to hand the volume of walk ins . We had to wait 30 mins for a table. Oh did I mention they wont take reservations! Honestly just annoying and the food was so so. Again our waitress was great and the only reason Iam not more upset . Will not go there with a large group ever again. Disappointed....More

We stopped for dinner . We were greeted and brought chips and salsa right away. We ordered cheese queso with beef it was yummy! I had their skinny margarita it was great! We both enjoyed or entrees! Our service was great also . We would...recommend this place ❤️More

Great Nachos, stayed at the Drury Inn and was within walking distance. The service was fast and friendly staff
