Great breads can be find here. We had the ancient grain loaf and enjoyed it for two days. Prices are not cheap but you are paying for quality here!!

There were smiling faces and friendly service from the time we walked in the front door. It’s a beautiful space, and the food is delicious, fresh, and inviting. I’ll go back for lunch, baked goods, or for supplies for a cheese board! Definitely a welcome...More

What a wonderful bakery! Charming space and top-notch, high quality baked goods. The whole wheat biscuits were flavorful and flaky, served with soft salted butter and jam. Coffee was tasty and fresh. Hot cereal was an enhanced oatmeal packed with chewy grains, apples, nuts, and...More

Had a delicious mini Italian loaf with jam and butter served by the nicest lady. It was fresh out of the oven, crusty on the outside and soft and warm inside. Great spot for a light breakfast in Alpine.

This bakery focuses on their breads but everything we had was delicious. It started with a visit early one afternoon to ask about dinner options which was either pizza or a cheese and bread platter. I bought some chocolate chip cookies and a brownie with...More

New bakery in town. Had to try it. I don't like whole wheat bread but I liked it here. Little pricey but worth it. We don't have a bakery here.

the only bakery in town, opens only 3 days a week. very casual but neat looking seating area, few varieties of healthy bread and sweets. reasonable prices, owner seems very friendly. wish them grow.

Taste and See Bakery, a one-woman run bakery and mill in Alpine, a tiny West Texas outpost. Specialty grains, milled within 24 hours, transformed into delicious, nutrient-dense artisan breads and pastries. Seeking to nourish the world one loaf at a time. Plenty of love and goodness, but absolutely no white flour or white sugar. We don't think we need that or the other stuff we can't pronounce.
