This was a highlight of our time in Kyoto. Highly recommend to anyone looking to get a better understanding of Maiko and Geisha tradition and culture. The dining experience was great as well.

It was such a wonderful experience! The food of course was excellent japanese food! It was nice to see the meiko dance and can ask her a lot of interesting questions. Also a lot of fun were the drinking games. In the beginning I was...a little bit nervous, because I am travelling alone and never had this special kind of experience. The staff was very polite and helped me to feel very comfortable. They gave me a funny, special and unforgetable evening! Thank you again for these special moments and making that evening perfect! Overall a fantastic experience. They served kaiseki for dinner, as well as free flow beverages (alcoholic and non alcoholic). Fukukana's dance was splendid. Then, she and the interpreter came round the tables to chat with the guests. My table spent about 30 minutes chatting with...her. After that, there were a few rounds of games with Fukukana, and if you lose you get punished and if you win you get a small gift. She closed off the night with a photography session and one final dance for us. I'm low-key rooting for Fukukana now! Absolutely loved the experience. The staff were all unbelievable, Miyu was positively great. The maiko was stunning. The food was amazing. Highly reccomend this to anybody willing.

Our recent Japan trip highlight was the dinner evening with a maiko in Gion at Yasakadori Enraku. She was gracious and charming beyond belief and we felt so personally touched to have the privilege of spending time with her. The food was amazing, the drinks...free flowing and plentiful, and the Yasakadori Enraku staff were exceptional in their hospitality and genuine care for the guests. If you're worried about sitting on the tatame for dinner, don't. I have a pretty poor back and had no issues at all. They give you a chair back on the floor that you sit on and lean against, and you can stretch your legs under the table, so it's pretty comfortable. It was a very small group of 7 so it felt very intimate and personal. I cannot recommend this experience any higher, it was exceptional to spend one-on-one time with such a beautiful person who embodies everything that is great about traditional Japan.More

The dinner and show were wonderful. Enjoyed the Japanese food and drink. The competition between tiger, samauri and mother with guests involved was very entertaining. Table interviews with Maiko and interpreter were also very good and enlightening. Thanks for a wonderful evening.
