Reviewed yesterday

The individual booths were interesting, and the kids had fun eating by 'themselves'. They gave you a paper once you are seated and you could customise the ramen according to what you like - more favour, more seaweed, less onions, firm noodles etc. Iced water...More

Ichiran's brand is definitely not foreign to Japan's gastronomical scene-- but just as with anything else, you have to taste it to believe it! Loved that you are able to customize your ramen's firmness and your soup (how rich and spicy you want it to...More

Best ramen we had during our 10 days in Japan. Very tasty. Visited Ichiran 3 times ik total: 2 times in Kyoto and 1 time in Shinjuku, Tokyo. Be prepared to wait in line. It's totally worth it though.

This was the most unfortunate ramen experience in japan by far. The soup is tasteless, it smells bad and it's not cheap. But this is not the worst part. You eat in some sort of booths, isolated from your neighbours, facing a wall. It's like...More

One of the best ramen. The broth is thick and flavourful. I really impressed with their systematic queuing system and although it is very touristy it still maintain the quality

Ate their branch in Ueno and liked it so brought my husband here when we went to Kyoto. Loved it! It's still among the better ramens in Japan, with an option for you to customize a bit. I also love how they set up their...More

Decent ramen, but there are far better ramen restaurants out there that will be cheaper and tastier. Just a basic ramen here is quite expensive and has nothing special to it... Walk away and get ramen from another shop, there are plenty out there

I walked into this shop just expecting a tasty bowl of ramen. What I didn't expect was to also experience a very different dining style, unlike any other ramen restaurant (or any restaurant!) I've been to. We walked into this branch around 3.30pm, quite late...More

As in many restaurants in Japan, you make your order and pay through the machine at the entrance. Then you are given a paper to fill in your preferred choice of taste and the texture of the noodle. You are then seated in a small...More

Those who delight in shopping and cuisine will find
